Modern look
I was so excited to change out my shower head. The color and look is very modern and very easy to use once installed. The water pressure was normal for us. Installing on the other hand took some elbow grease. Not sure if it's because my bathroom is a little older but installation took a little longer then anticipated. But overall I love it.

Beautiful finish
If I divert the water to just one part it gets higher pressure, it's only low pressure when both the center and the outer part are both spraying water. I turned it to where it was just spraying from the outer part and the middle and both felt comfortable as far as pressure goes. The center has higher pressure but less overall coverage, obviously.

I was so excited to get this Delta Ashlyn monitor 17 series shower system. We really need to upgrade the one we already had it was old and outdated. The gold finish is beautiful the performance and water pressure is good also.

If I use a R10000-UNWS rough-in valve for this T17464-I faucet, will it reduce the water flow? If so, how much?

How long is the spray hose? It appears to be 60 inces long out of the box, but I was told it should be 69 inches for the model T17464-I. What accounts for the discrepancy?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T17464-RB-I Tub and Shower Faucet includes a diverter tub spout. To divert water from the tub spout assembly to the shower head, simply pull up on the lift rod on top of the diverter tub spout.

How does the water switch between the hand spray and the wall shower head?
Hi Rsquared76, Thank you for your question. The In2ition showerhead that comes in model T17464-SS-I has a built in diverter on the shower arm mount portion of the fixed showerhead. A selector lever allows you to choose between hand shower only, fixed shower head only, or both at the same time.

What parts of this product are plastic ?

I have read "Reviews" that state the major parts of the assembly are made of plastic with a chrome finish.
I have also read "Reviews" that after average use of the center hand-held section, it eventually wears out and the center hand-held section will not stay in its "home" cradle position. The reviews say that after a while the hand-held section is just left to hang.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet mocel # T17464-I has both metallic and non-metallic parts. The showerhead is non-metallic.
Regarding the handheld not fitting back into its cradle, we have not had this issue before. The faucet is under a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner. If you ever have an issue with it, please contact our Home Owner/Warranty line.

Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T17464-I diverter tub assembly sweats onto a 1/2" C.W.T or threads onto the 1/2" IPS nipple and does include the RP12307 adapter assembly.

The faucet does not have a gasket where it connects to the wall. Water is able to get behind the facet and collect on the grouted tile where the pipe comes out of the wall. What should be done to prevent leaks from happening at this point?

Thank you for your question! At 60 PSI, the flow rate of the tub spout should be 6 gallons per minute. At 80 PSI, the flow rate of the tub spout should be 7 gallons a minute. I have attached the Technical Specifications for your perusal if you need more information.

Just installed this unit and cannot get water hot enough. Is the "monitor" causing this?
Thank you for your question, SS22! The cartridge on this model has a rotational limit stop that will need to be adjusted accordingly for the preferred temperature range. Information on making this adjustment can be found on page 7, step 4 of the Maintenance and Installation manual below.

Is there a remodel plate for the T17464-BL-I?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17464-BL-I.
We carry the RP29827BL renovation plate. It is typically used with a round escutcheon, but could also work with this tub and shower trim. The square escutcheon covers the 5.125" center hole and does not extend outside the raised 8.5" circle of the renovation plate.

I recently installed two shower valves The one bathroom has full pressure and no temp issues in the tub faucet. The other shower head lacks pressure and the temp is not consistent.is the valve or ignition valve bad?
i like this model, but would like to add an adjustable slide bar for the hand wand, so i can set it up for my kids... Do you have a slide bar i can purchase separately that would match the black finish and also accept the wand base??

I have a IN2ITION T17464-BL-I shower head. Installed 2 yrs ago. I have significantly reduced shower head water pressure since install. I have city water no HARD water. How can I increase shower water pressure? Is there a FILTER Screen in Shower head?

We apologize for the issues you are experiencing and we are happy to help! The flow restrictor in our shower heads and handshowers are non-removable. Any modifications will result in a void in the warranty available on the product. The nubbins can be cleaned by running your fingers over the nubbins, you can remove the hose from the hand shower and turn the water on to see if there is any debris lodged into the hose.
