Tub Spout
The trim is nice. There is a couple of items i am trying to workout. The tub spout is so long it looks out of place and there is this flap near wall that lifts up out of the top of the spout and comes out of the top of the spout. It has a long pin under it when removed and water leaks out of the top of the spout.

Sent wrong color tub spout
The order was for chrome. Everything was chrome except the tub spout was black. Now I have to get a whole new tub spout with a proper matching color. Also we bought this with an advertised shower set including the hand shower and bar. They sent a 3 way valve, but as it turns out that is not necessary. We could have just used a 2 way valve since there's a separate diverter that came with handshower. Very confusing, and weird to have two handles on the wall.

I assume that when I order a valve, it does not come with a cartridge. What cartridge do I order for this?

What tub spout adapter part # is recommended for this Galion Tub Spout that is included in this "set" T17472-SS-PR? My rough plumbing is 1/2 copper prepped for slip on tub spout. The Tub Spout in the"set" looks like it will only fit threaded Iron Pipe.

How do you install the tub spout if the rough-in was done with a 1/2” copper tube stubbed out about 6” from the finished tile?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17472-BL.
The included tub spout installs to a 1/2" threaded pipe. Unfortunately, it is not designed to install on a copper pipe.
