Incorrect register for shower kit.
The plumbing company informed me that the register was not the right one for the kit so I had to purchase an additional register to have the job completed. I was a little disappointed with spending more money.

Low quality
Low quality look and feel. I was expecting the tub faucet to be metal but it feels like plastic with a coating of metal paint. The hose to the handheld shower also feels cheap and is perpetually kinked (there's something wrong with the way the hose hangs, and even after untwisting it, it always has a twist in the drape). Terrible installation instructions, too. Would be very helpful to have the instructions for the model received, not for various models with different parts!

Can I get the tub and shower features with the 58045 showerhead?
I am installing a new showerhead in my tub so would need both tub and shower features but I like the looks of the 58045 showerhead better than the 58065 model. Are the showerheads interchangeable? Does the 58045 model showerhead come with the tub faucets?
Besides the two rows of holes in the stationary part and the way it looks, is there any other difference between Model 58045 and Model 58065?
Hi Judy, Thank you for your question. There are several differences between the model 58045 and the 58065. The 58045 has 5 spray settings, and a finish matching face. The 58065 has 4 spray settings and 2 different finishes on the face of the showerhead. The 2 models also have different amounts and locations of spray holes and how the handheld showerhead attaches to the fixed head are different.
The model 58045 showerhead is not offered with a complete faucet. You can order the T17494-SS tub and shower trim and the 58045-SS and use the In2ition showerhead in place of the more standard head that comes with the trim.

Does this trim kit come with the matching overflow cover and bath drain

I cannot get water to get hot only warm. Water in sink gets very hot what can I do?

Aside from flushing the valve body to remove any potential debris, the shower cartridge assembly also has a rotational limit stop that should be set at the time of installation for a hotter or colder temperature range. This may need to be adjusted periodically during seasonal changes depending on personal references. Increase flow
Is there a way to increase water flow on DELTA FAUCET T17494-RB-I . We just replaced a waterpik shower head. This new Delta doesn't have nearly the water flow. Is there a water restriction installed? We take short showers but would like increased pressure.

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Linden In2ition Tub and Shower T17494-RB-I faucet is designed with a 2.00 gpm at 80 psi flow rate. There are no removable restrictors or other internal parts that will increase the flow rate of this unit.

This helps prevent heat transfer that could result in scalding and reduce weight. Non-metallic parts are also beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode. Thank you for your question. Yes, the Delta Linden In2ition Tub and Shower T17494-RB-I model can be installed as a shower only unit. You would want to make sure the bottom port of the valve is capped, if your not installing the tub spout.

Can a T17494 be used in a valve body from either a 1300 or 1400 series rom appoximately 2005?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, a 17 series trim will not work with an existing valve body that housed a 1300/1400 series valve trim. If you are not wanting to replace the valve body in your wall, you will need to purchase a T13 or T14 series trim kit.

Model: T17494-SS-1 My tub diverter spout will not stop all the water when taking a shower. What can I do to fix this? It's only a month old.
Thank you for your question, Mark! The CSA/ASME Plumbing Standard allows tub spout leakage of up to 0.1 gallons per minute. This standard also requires the diverter to return to the tub mode when the valve is turned off. Small leakage from the tub spout facilitates returning to the tub mode. Is it possible to get a shorter hose? Is it possible to cut off the water from the main shower head and just have water in the hand shower?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17494-I has a hose that is 69 inches long. We do manufacture a couple of hoses that are shorter that will also work with your showerhead. Delta Faucet model # U490R-40-PK is 40 inches long and Delta Faucet model # U490R-60-PK is 60 inches long.
On the back of the stationary showerhead, there is a small handle that will allow you to switch the flow of water from the stationary showerhead to the handheld showerhead or to having both on at the same time.

Does the handheld attach to the shower head magnetically?
Hi Leo, Thank you for your question. The handheld portion of the In2ition showerhead that comes in the model T17494-I does not attach to the fixed portion by magnets. The handheld goes into the fixed potion and sets into place and is slid down to lock into place.

I am considering the Two-in-One Shower in either Venitian Bronze or Stainless in a bath remodel. I will also need grab bars. What accessories go with these colors? Also, what other accessories are needed to replace existing fixtures?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17494-RB-I has several accessories to compliment the faucet. We manufacture an 18" towel bar, a 24" towel bar, a robe hook, a towel ring, and a tissue holder.
We do have one grab bar in the finishes that you are looking for. Delta Faucet model # 56302 is available in Stainless Steel and Venetian Bronze, However, this grab bar also has a 60-82" stetchable metal hose and and ADA slide mechanism, so it may not be exactly what you are looking for.

With tub/shower how would you fill the tub?
