PRODUCT FEATURES
The In2ition® Two-in-One Shower gets water where you need it most using the integrated shower head and hand shower separately or together
  • Perfect for bathing loved ones and pets as well as keeping the inside of your shower and tub clean
  • Control volume and water temperature independently with two separate handles for more refined control of your shower experience
  • Monitor® pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ± 3.6⁰ F (± 2.0⁰ C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Diverter lever sets In2ition Two-in-One Shower to one of three options: Showerhead and Hand shower, Showerhead only, and Hand shower only
  • Spray settings include: Full Body spray, Full Spray with Massage, Massaging spray, and Pause
  • Pause feature reduces the water to a trickle, allowing you to conserve water while doing tasks such as lathering up or shaving your legs
  • Easy turn dial to change hand shower sprays
  • Trim kit only, must order MultiChoice® Universal Valve separately to complete the unit

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Low quality Low quality look and feel. I was expecting the tub faucet to be metal but it feels like plastic with a coating of metal paint. The hose to the handheld shower also feels cheap and is perpetually kinked (there's something wrong with the way the hose hangs, and even after untwisting it, it always has a twist in the drape). Terrible installation instructions, too. Would be very helpful to have the instructions for the model received, not for various models with different parts!

does this contain hot/cold line shut offs in body of valve

i am looking at Linden Monitor® 17 Series Tub and Shower with In2ition® Two-in-One Shower my shower has no external water shut offs; i must shut off water for entire house. so i am looking for single unit controls that have screw shut offs in the body of the unit in case it needs servicing, so that I don't have to shut off water to house if this unit doesn't have the feature, please suggest other units that also include separate temp/volume controls that do

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17494-CZ-I is a trim only model. It does not include the valve. We would recommend pairing it with the R10000-UNWS rough in valve. This valve is equipped with screwdriver stops so the valve can be serviced without turning off the water to the whole house.

I currently have T17494cz currently installed in my bathroom. This has a fixed shower head. It is possible to purchase the two and one shower wand

by itself as I already have the other items.

Does this allow flow control as well as temp control? We like to have hot water running slowly into the tub as we bathe.

Hello Tom, Thank you for your question. The Delta Linden In2ition Tub and Shower T17494-CZ-I does have volume and temperature control handles. The front small dial is the temperature control and the large handle controls the on/off/volume of water. Best regards, Tanya

Upgrade hand shower on T17494-1

Can I purchase this set and upgrade the hand shower part without having to buy them separate and discard the piece that comes with the set?

About the "valve body"...

It seems a "valve body" must be purchased with this set... Is that correct? Is the "MultiChoice Universal Tub and Shower Valve Body - R10000-IP" the only compatible one? If not, which others will work?

Hello Maghead, Thanks for your question. Any of the R10000 valves will work with this unit. They differ only in their installation method or the presence of screwdriver stops. I hope this helps!
