tub sprout
We have have had this for approximately 14 months now, the tub sprout is all rusted inside. Water coming out the sprout was rust colored. After dismantling the faucet, it was rusted inside. Quite unfortunate, we have to find a replacement.

Tub spigot safety
Very nice set. But, the tub spigot sticks out too far and the front corners are very pointed. I feel this is a safety factor esp if children will be in the tub. Someone can easily get hurt if they bumped into it. We had to get another type and now out money on this which was costly.

Bought this kit for a bath remodel and the design and finish on this set was perfect. The clean edges and satin finish is very sleek and a great addition to almost any style . Instructions are easy to follow and should hold up to regular use.

Awesome Product
The Delta shows head and faucet is so nice. It brings such a luxurious feel to the bathroom. This set definitely tales showering to a whole new level in the best way. You truly feel like you are at a spa. You can change the water flow to your liking which I am a fan of. The volume control takes a minute to get use to but I caught on in no time.The install is easy as long as you follow the directions. It is so easy to wipe down and keep clean. I would highly recommend!

Such a nice shower fixture I love it, it’s all made of brass so it’s going to last year’s. solid construction. the installation was easy, it gave me the opportunity to place the control valve where dicier. the shower head has a push tab to change its spray pattern. hot and cold control’s are smooth action, I like the fact that, just pull up the tab on the spout to turn on the shower head. The stainless steel brush finish complement it’s design. makes my restroom look more elegant. I’m happy with it an I’m sure you will too..

Love this combo!
This fixture combo is awesome! My husband installed it and it was extremely straight forward, the directions were clear and easy to follow. It looks beautiful too. I love the showerhead and it makes it feel like you're using more water then you are. The pause feature is so nice too. I really appreciate being able to select water pressure and temp separately as well. I can't recommend this combo enough!

Feels like a dream
Just completed our home and we needed all delta products for plumbing. No issues with temperature or pressure. The head is lovely and has just the right amount of pressure. I really Love it! Very high end! Expensive feel! Beautiful and great quality! It was all pretty easy to install did it in just a few hours.

The Best Tub and Show Trim you can buy!
I was doing a recent home remodeling and I was looking to replace my old Tub and Shower trim. After doing some analysis, I settled on the Pivotal® Monitor® 17 Series H2Okinetic® Tub And Shower Trim. I went with Delta because I have had nothing but success and good quality when using Delta products. After installing this set, I was amazed! It got so many compliments when people looked at my bathroom. I love the contemporary look. The shower itself is one of the most intuitive showers that I have had. The H2Okinetic turns the water into a unique wave pattern. This not only looks cool but it add about 3X the coverage of a standard shower head. This feature gives you the feeling of using more water without using much water.There is a separate handle for water volume and temperature. This gives you total control of the sower experience. My husband loves the pause feature which he uses while shaving. This feature reduces water to trickle while maintaining your temperate settings. I love Delta products because they come with a Lifetime Limited Warranty. They stand by their product. I truly loved this product and I will add an additional room.

Thank you for your question. The Delta T17499 valve trim has both metallic and non-metallic parts. The handle assembly, escutcheon plate, and sleeve are metallic. The shower head is non-metallic.

I want to add a handheld, 3 position diverter, and diverter valve. Is the R10000-UNWS the correct rough-in valve for this system? I'm in CA.

The R10000-UNWS is the correct valve for the T17499-PR trim kit. However, you will need the R11000 diverter valve and a 3-setting trim kit to switch between hand shower and showerhead. Please see the following links for more information.

What is the purpose of the 9" tub spout? Won't this get in the way when taking a shower?

How does one set the temperature on the T17499-BL dual shiwer handle? Ive played with it but cannot seem to get the hot HOT and cold COLD

The Delta Faucet model T17499-BL tub and shower trim can control the water temperature with the knob located on top of the volume control handle. The rotational limit stop should be adjusted to allow the right amount of hot water into the cartridge. Instructions for adjusting the limit stop are on page 10 of the manual.

I have a t17499 tub spout with diverter. Purchased in November 2020. The diverter pull up handle came out and I can no longer use the shower. Will Delta handle repair? Can you provide instructions for replacing the diverter pull up handle?
