Great product
We remodeled both of our bathrooms and this shower head set worked great for one of them. We get many compliments on our bathroom now. People point out the lovely shower head. I love how the water flows out of the head.

Beautiful and elegant
We are doing a total bathroom remodel pice by piece and got this for our new tub/shower. It is so elegant!
The ‘kit’ came with all the parts-the faucet, controls, shower head, valves are all heavy and solid. There are no rough edges or finish blemishes whatsoever. The finish playing seems heavy and is flawless.
The water flow and temperature control is a little different than our old style one but was easily figured out and mastered. Water flow from the spout is generous and full and even the sound of the water coming from the spigot sounds elegant. and the shower head? I feel like I am at a fancy spa or showering in a jewelry box.
Installation…..my husband did the install as part of putting in a new soaking tub and marble tiled walls. He is very handy and had to refer back to the Instructions a few times, but other than his own personal mistakes due to over confidence the install was straightforward and the instructions detailed and easy to follow. All the steps were explained well.
We love Delta because of the great warranty and quality and thier stylish options. DH loves Delta because when something does wear out, spare parts are readily available

Instructions for installation is not clear
After spendin long time trying to understand what parts do i need to oder to install the tub spot, shower head and shower heand and verifying that order with 2 different assistants still had missing rough valve.
Have nothing to say about the product quality yet.

Would love to give 5 stars but....
Had the wrong instructions to install tub spout and should have been roughed in differently. We came up with creative solution so we didn’t hve to tear out the tile.

I love the look, but as is installed on the wall looks too big fot my bathroom.
Spout is huge! I wish that I did order Trinsic insted.

Love the look but pressure isn’t great!
We bought this for our modern farmhouse build. It’s the perfect modern/industrial look for our boys’ bathroom but it’s terrible if you’re an adult trying to wash your hair! The pressure is super low (and we have crazy good pressure in our whole house) and the setting options don’t get any better when changed. We love the look and it’s great for filling up the tub below for the kids, but it’s not our favorite for showering!

Is the valve handle plastic or metal? Is the shower head plastic or metal?

Thank you for your question. The Delta T17499 valve trim has both metallic and non-metallic parts. The handle assembly, escutcheon plate, and sleeve are metallic. The shower head is non-metallic.

I want to add a handheld, 3 position diverter, and diverter valve. Is the R10000-UNWS the correct rough-in valve for this system? I'm in CA.

Thank you for your question!
The R10000-UNWS is the correct valve for the T17499-PR trim kit. However, you will need the R11000 diverter valve and a 3-setting trim kit to switch between hand shower and showerhead. Please see the following links for more information.

What is the purpose of the 9" tub spout? Won't this get in the way when taking a shower?

How does one set the temperature on the T17499-BL dual shiwer handle? Ive played with it but cannot seem to get the hot HOT and cold COLD

The Delta Faucet model T17499-BL tub and shower trim can control the water temperature with the knob located on top of the volume control handle. The rotational limit stop should be adjusted to allow the right amount of hot water into the cartridge. Instructions for adjusting the limit stop are on page 10 of the manual.

I have a t17499 tub spout with diverter. Purchased in November 2020. The diverter pull up handle came out and I can no longer use the shower. Will Delta handle repair? Can you provide instructions for replacing the diverter pull up handle?
