Delta® H2Okinetic® Showers look different because they are different. Using advanced technology, H2Okinetic showers sculpt water into a unique wave pattern, giving you 3X the coverage of a standard shower head.* The end result is a shower that provides more coverage, more warmth and more intensity for a truly drenching shower experience. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, then easily restarts the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta® thermostatic valves use TempAssure® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. Chrome has rapidly become one of the most popular finishes across décor styles in the bath thanks to its stunning gloss and innate versatility. Paired with crisp lines and bright whites, it creates a bold, modern contrast, but it works equally well with vintage styles and traditional spaces to convey a hint of nostalgia. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.
H2Okinetic Shower technology sculpts water into a unique wave pattern, forming a powerful drench spray
Gives you the feeling of more water without using more water

TempAssure thermostatic valve keeps water temperature within a safe +/-3degrees F (+/-1.6degrees C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure

Pause feature reduces water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings
Trim kit only, must order MultiChoice® Universal Valve separately to complete the unit

Extremely low water flowHad I known this faucet delivers just 1.75 gallons per minute I would not have purchased it. Showers take twice as long to wash/rinse and I need to use more hot water to stay warm in the shower. Consumers should be warned of the very low water flow.

designer builderLooks beautiful and I think the product that has seperate heat flow settings is really great. I bought this a second time because the first one I have works well.
Get a water filter if you can though as our water has sediment in it that can effect the core seals.

Gorgeous and Great QualityThis is a beautiful shower head for our new master shower. Its pricey, but we’re glad we splurged. It’s big and sturdy unlike the other plastic head we ordered for the guest bath. Love the color and detail, the functionality of the handles. It sprays a ton of water, usually don’t even have to turn the pressure all the way up. Highly recommend.

Nice shower package[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chose this shower faucet and shower head over Kohler because of the independent volume control. It’s nice to have hot water and a lower volume, if you choose. We had a Delta shower faucet before we remodeled and had good luck with it. I believe that Delta has a lifetime warranty, too.

Hi, I want to install a T17T259-SS-H2O shower trim with a R10000-unbox (?) rough in valve for my shower. If I want a 55085-SS wall mount hand shower with a 50560-SS elbow, do I need another diverted or part to plumb it into the main shower valve assembly?
Asked by: BILL
Thank you for your question, BILL! In order to use a wall elbow and hand shower, you will need to use the diverting valve R11000 with a corresponding trim. For a 3-setting, shared position trim to match this model you will need to purchase and install T11859-SS along with the diverting valve.

How do I remove the temperature control knob on the end of the shower control mechanism for Model#: T17T259-H2O? I am trying to adjust the stopping point to allow more cold water to be mixed.
Asked by: Patrick
Hi, Patrick!
Thank you for your question. To remove the temperature handle on the T17T259-H2O faucet, simply pull the temperature cover straight off. Once the temperature cover is pulled off, you can then unscrew the screw counterclockwise to remove the temperature knob.

Rosanna

Is there a way to increase flow rate on the T17T259-H2O shower head?
Asked by: Dave
Thank you for your question, Dave! Model T17T259-H2O is a WaterSense® Labeled product designed to produce 1.75 gpm @ 80 psi. If you are not getting this flow rate, we recommend removing the shower head and turning the water on to a full mixed position to flush out any debris out that could be reducing the flow. Please contact us directly if you have questions about this or need further assistance.

Is there a part number for a replacement temp control knob made from the same metal as the larger control or is there another set/model that includes a cross compatible metal control knob?
Asked by: GA_JC
Thank you for your question, GA_JC! The Delta Trinsic TempAssure H2Okinetic 17T Series T17T259-H2O faucet is not designed with a metal front temperature dial, for safety reasons. We do not manufacture any full metal Shower or tub/shower trim kits.

Compatible in the UK
I grew up with Delta Faucets and I want to know if I could bring one to England to install in my house since I've moved abroad. Do the fittings work in metric or are they inches and what kind of pressure water supply do I need to make it work? Please, let me know if this is possible. Thanks.
Asked by: Mr M

We have different versions of the R10000 rough-in valve for different types of plumbing. R10000-UN models work with 1/2" copper sweat or 1/2" threaded IPS connections. The shower arm has 1/2" threads.
