With a design inspired by the shape of sailboats, the Galeon® Bath Collection brings a chiseled, contemporary look into the bath. Delta® showers with TempAssure® thermostatic valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle — without interrupting your set temperature. Great shower head and handle set
This shower head has great coverage and good pressure. The two settings are very refreshing. The double handle works great when I want low pressure, but hot water.

I've seen the Galeon™ 17T Series Model#: T17T271-PR advertised at Home Depot as the shower faucet trim kit only and to purchase the shower valve separately. What does that mean? What is the valve? Is what I'm seeing on the Delta site include the valve?

The brass valve that is plumbed to the water supplies is not included with this trim kit. The valve or valve rough needed for this faucet trim kit is a MultiChoice R10000 series.

Once a MultiChoice valve rough is installed, you can use any trim kit from a 13, 14, 17, or 17T series. The "T" at the start of the model number indicates a trim kit only.

For this Galeon ultrasoak shower head, the specs say 1.75 gpm - can the restrictor be removed to increase the gpm? If so, what would the gpm be then? Also is the shower head tiltable side to side (left to right)?
