Beautiful and Substantial
This package has a steady-state temperature setting that will maintain the water temperature you set no matter how the water flow volume changes. That was the primary feature we wanted when choosing a shower trim set and it seems to work effectively.
The only criticism I have is that the water flow from the shower head could be a bit stronger. There are two settings: a rain shower and a more concentrated flow, but even the concentrated flow is a less forceful than I personally prefer. The other people in the house love the rain shower, however. I’m still pleased with the purchase and hope for many years of service from this package.

Not happy with this product
As you'll read in the Q&A section, this product is entirely plastic. When using the shower diverter, we get a drip/leak from the tub spout down the wall. Plumber suggested silicon taping the fitting. I have a hard time believing this issue isn't related to the cheap plastic material and the performance we're seeing. Very disappointed and don't know what to do now. Installed a few months ago in our brand new house.

Modern form, everyday function
We bought this package in chrome for our kids’ bathroom, which we remodeled in a modern, farmhouse style. All pieces are sturdy and my husband had no issues installing them. The shower head is large with good water coverage and pressure. We actually look for excuses to shower in our kids’ bathroom because their shower is nicer than ours! The only drawbacks are that, with the chrome finish, water spots are inevitable and highly noticeable. Also, the showerhead only has two spray functions. So if you’re looking for one that can spray in 5+ ways, this probably isn’t the one for you.

Is there tub drain in the same style/color of the Trinsic faucet champagne bronze?

Thank you for your question. We make a Toe-Operated Bath Waste assembly in Champagne Bronze, model RP693CZ. You can also purchase the RP391 assembly with a RP31555CZ overflow and RP7430CZ for a trip-lever operated drain.

The water is not hot coming out of tub spout or shower head, only luke warm. Plenty of hot water in the sink. Is their a simple adjustment ?

Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta TempAssure T17T459-CZH2O Faucet. The Faucet does have a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted for hotter water.
To adjust: Place the temperature knob onto the splines, then rotate the
temperature knob counter-clockwise until you achieve your maximum desired temperature
from the outlet If max temperature is not achieved before limit
stop on temperature knob meets the limit stop on the volume control handle. Remove
the temperature control knob from splines. Rotate temperature control knob clockwise.
Place temperature control knob back onto splines and continue to rotate counter-clockwise
until maximum desired temperature is achieved. Remove the temperature knob and replace onto
the splines, making sure that the temperature knob limit stop hits against the volume handle
limit stop.

Thank you for your question. The Delta TempAssure T17T459-CZH2O Shower temperature handle can be removed by pulling the temperature cover straight off. No set screw is needed to be removed for the temperature handle.

I saw many reviews that said that this made of plastic. Is that true?

Our Delta shower and tub/showers use either metal and plastic combination or a proprietary mixture of components so that the product has a high quality, while maintaining safety control with the various temperatures of water that go through the product. Both the shower head and the tub spout of this Delta Trinsic Tub and Shower T17T459-CZH2O faucet are non-metallic.

Does the temperature cap just snap on? I'm having difficulty placing it in the fixture (and it's the last piece).
Thank you for your question, Brett. The temperature knob cover will snap onto the knob. Be sure to hook it into the slot first, then press it down to snap onto the tabs.

Hi sorry one more question ... why do I need this ? use with MultiChoice® Universal rough valve body (R10000 Series)ordered separately Can’t I use my existing one? If not why? Or if so what would change ? Thanks
Hi, Delta88. Thanks for your question! This can be used with a new or existing MultiChoice R10000 Valve Body. It will not work with a rough-in valve made prior to February 2006. The model T17459 can be installed on an R10000 Valve or an existing 1700 Series valve with the original cartridge.

Just want to confirm because I have seen mixed reviews - the tub spout including the diverted is entirely plastic? How can that not break very easily? I’ve heard mixed information on this - 100% certain it is plastic? What type of plastic can this be?
I have this .. it’s heavy duty I didn’t notice it said plastic until I bought it and it was shipped .. its not light weight at all it’s nice ! Heavy
