I expected quality for this price
The handles are good quality- they’re heavy and made of metal. Unfortunately, the face plate is plastic. For the price, I expected all the pieces to be made of metal; otherwise, I would’ve just gone to a big box store.

Does T24897 have a matching valve trim without a diverter? (My shower will have two valve trims but only one needs the integrated diverter.)

on this unit i see that the handle turns the water on and adjust the temperature all in one handle is that correct? and the diverter can be set up how i would like correct first position for water going to the tub and next to the shower head

The single handle adjusts temperature and volume in one, the diverter gets moved to one position and stays there unless you change it yourself.

new install T24897-SS shower hwad is dripping, how to adjust this valve?

Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help!
It can be normal to drip for a minute as water leaves the showerhead and shower arm. If the drip continues, we recommend replacing the RP4993 seats and springs in the legs of the cartridge. The rubber seat may be damaged or defective.
I also recommend carefully turning on the water supplies with the cartridge removed. This will shoot water across the shower and flush out any water debris that may be trapped in the valve.

How do you remove the insert button on the valve handle?

we purchased a T24897 with a three position diverter. We have a hot water recirculating pump continuously running and hot water available throughout the house except in the new shower which we have to run both shower heads to get Luke warm H2O. Why?

Thank you for your question! If the water is not hot enough, first check that the Rotational Limit Stop was adjusted during installation. This is a safety feature that limits the maximum amount of hot water that can be mixed. See the manual for more information.

My trim sleeve doesn’t fit over my bonnet nut. Is it possible to get a size larger for this or is there a trick to getting this to fit?
