Great looking valve trim[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This delta valve trim is amazing. The pressure it gives to the head and shower wand is great. The chrome color is beautiful and goes with all the other chrome pieces I purchased. Love the 6 function so you only desk with one valve trim instead of the typical three knobs. Works wonderfully.
With this new valve, my water pressure is very low, is there a setting that needs to change? Prior to upgrading to this, pressure was high. Thanks

Could you please explain the difference between a “2-Handle” and a “Two Handle” product? All of the “two handle” trims with integrated diverters. such as this one, appear to have just one handle.
Asked by: irc2
Hi, Ianr!
Thank you for your question. The "Two Handle" for the Delta Monitor® 14 Series Valve Trim with 6-Setting Integrated Diverter T24989-RB is referring to the valve control and diverter control handles.
The other Two Handle Monitor® 17 Series Valve Trim with 6-Setting Integrated Diverter T27989-RB has both volume and temperature valve control and diverter control handles.
Best Regards,
Rosanna

what tub spout would correspond with trim?
Asked by: Steven
Hi Steven,
Thank you for your question. Products in the Trinsic, Compel, and other contemporary collections will match this trim. However, the R22000 valve for this trim does not have a tub spout outlet.
You may connect a non-diverter tub spout to the 6-setting diverter as a temperature tester, but the flow rate will be reduced, so it is not recommended to be used for a tub filler spout.
Best regards,
Jon

What is the difference between the 14 series and the 17 series?
Asked by: Wondering
Hello Wondering,
The Delta Contemporary Valve Trim T24959-SS is a 14 Series unit with a single handle controlling temperature only, with one constant volume. The T27959-SS is a 17 Series unit that controls volume and water temperature independently with two separate handles for more refined control of your shower experience. Both trim kits are compatible with the matching Integrated Rough-In R22000 valve.
Best regards,
Tanya

Does the top handle on this control where the water comes out? If so, if I have two body jets, a shower head, and a shower wand, can I use all three at once or only two of the three water outlets?
Asked by: Aaron
Hello Aaron! Thank you for your question. I am happy to assist you today.
The T24959-BL Delta Shower Trim's top handle does operate the diverter which controls which function is being used. You are able to use the two body jets as long as they're installed using the same port. You may also use the shower head as well as the wand. Please be advised that you may only use two of the three devices at on time.
Best regards, Antoine

how is this compared to the T27959? Does this also allow individual control of 3 different components (i.e. showerhead, jets, handheld). Does it allow all 3 to run at the same time? Or only 2 at a time? When more than one is running is there less flow?
