Delta t24997 Shower Diverter
It was very easy to install and the Venetian Bronze looks great. It's very well made from quality materials. It easily changes through the six functions and it's perfect if you have body spays. My only dislikes are the price and the scald guard rotational limit stop not giving you more control of the hot water.

Shower Diverter
Works very well, easy to change from one function to another. My only issue is I was told (after it was installed!) that it has a function where it keeps the water from getting hot enough to scald anyone. Sounds good except I have to put the water heater as high as it will go to get a warm shower, it also makes the rest of the water in the house with the capacity to scald someone from the excessive heat. Wish there was a way to disable that feature. Otherwise, attractive and works well.

The Delta 14 Series Traditional 6-Setting Diverter Valve Trim Kit T24997, unfortunately, cannot be used for tub spout water supply because it does not have a bottom port for tub spout installation. How do you tighten the handle on this product

The screw is under the handle button. You will need a 1/3 or 3/32 Allen wrench.

I just installed this product and it is slowly dripping out of the shower head. About 1 drip every 3 seconds. This is a brand new product. What should I check?

Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! Sorry to hear your faucet is dripping.
We recommend turning off the water supply and removing the cartridge. Clean any debris from the seats and springs in the legs of the cartridge and check the condition of the o-rings on the legs. Turn on the water supply, which will shoot water across the shower and clear any debris in the valve.
If the issue remains, replace the RP4993 seats and spring and the RP14414 o-rings.

How do I increase the hot water on this system. The water is not warm enough.
