Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet We had a plumber install this faucet into our tub as our tub is a Roman tub and doesn't have way access into the faucet area. The plumber was great but the faucet is beautiful and works very well. Overall, no complaints at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love, love! This faucet is gorgeous! The finish is beautiful and the reach into the tub is amazing. We have an older bathtub and it just spruced it right up! It’s easy to install and it takes just minutes to fill up my garden tub. The flow reminds me of a high class hotel tub with how quickly it fills up the tub. I wish I had more tubs because I’d grab more of these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from looks cool I got this tub faucet to freshen up our bathroom. I was able to replace the valves and faucet complete and it was relatively easy to do and the finished product looks GREAT. The valves offer great temp. control and the faucet flows nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, high quality product. This is not the first product we’ve bought from Delta and it won’t be my last! It’s a trustworthy brand that always produces great products. I recently purchased a home and had to renovate the entire thing. It’s beautiful but has been a process. I’m so glad I went with the Delta faucet for our new bathtub/shower. Having to redo all the piping and entire bathroom has been work, but knowing I have dependable products makes it worth the work. The products came with everything you need to set up. The shower head is a perfect size and both fixtures fit with our modern look. I am very pleased this item!

Q&A

replacing the trim to my roman tub

I think I currently have the T2710 trim kit installed in my tub (just bought the house) and I think it was installed in 1994. The set screw is on the back of the faucet. There is no access to swap out the rough-in, and I was hoping to update away from the brass fixture currently installed. Are there any trim kits I can use? I was hoping to swap to the T2705 or something similar.
Asked by: The Basian
Hi The Basian, Thank you for your question. In most cases where the roman tub spout is attached with a set screw in the back of the spout the current trims will fit on the existing rough in valve. To verify if the new trims will work please compare the spout connection on your current faucet to the connection of the R2707 rough. If the connections are the same the new trims will work Picture attached: http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/r2707.html Thanks, Dave

HOW CAN YOU CHANGE HANDLE ORIENTATION

PURCHASED THE CLASSIC ROMAN TUB TRUM T-2705 TO REPLACE A OLDER CROME DELTA ROMAN TUB FAUCET WITH KNOB HANDLES. THE ROUGH CAN NOT BE CHANGED AS THERE IS NO ACCESS . THE LEVER HANDLES GO ON BUT ONLY ORIENT TO THE INSIDE POSITION WHEN OFF. THE STEM IS THE ONE THAT WAS UNDER THE OTHER HANDLES AND CAN ONLY GO IN ONE POSITION. THE NEW HANDLES FIT ON BUT POINT TO INSIDE. IS THERE ANOTHER STEM UNIT THAT i CAN USE TO CORRECT THIS?
Asked by: PHIL
Hi Phil, Thank you for your question. Make sure the raised portion of the stem assembly faces to the right on both sides, hot and cold. This should orient your handles properly. If the portion of the stem that you screw the handle into is plastic you will want to change the stem units to RP24096 which have that portion in brass so the handle set screw doesn't puncture the side. Thanks, Dave

Switching Trim on Roman Tub

I have a roman tub with a Delta faucet that I'd like to switch out. I have no access under the tub to touch the pipes/rough-in set up/valves. I have H616 lever hot and cold handles in brushed nickel and brass (two-tone). I also have roman tub faucet T5722-SS installed right now with H616 handles. I want to remove them and replace with the Cassidy T2795-LHP faucet and H695 cross handles in polished chrome. Can the trim be easily switched out using the same valves and set up?
Asked by: Gen P
Hi Gen P, Thank you for your question! If you have the T5722-SS trim kit or any model that has a set screw on the back of the spout, you should be able to use the T2795-LHP with the existing valve. Thanks, Jon

What is the diffrenece between T5722-SS and T2705-SS tub faucets they look similar as do there specs, yet are priced different?

Asked by: Augie
Hi, Augie! Thank you for your question. The difference between the two roman tub faucets are the size of the spout and handles. The T2705-SS roman tub faucet has a 8 1/8" (206 mm) spout assembly. The T5722-SS roman tub faucet has a 6 1/2" (165 mm) spout assembly. Here are links to both technical specifications sheets for each: https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/dsp-b-t2705_C.pdf https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/dsp-b-t5722_C.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

Hi, I purchased a T2705-ss to replace a T2710. Because the handles are next to each other on the side of the tub, I am having a hard time positioning them to work. Is there a 1/4 turn stem for this? I imagine the rough in is a R2707. Thanks!

Asked by: Rich
Hi Rich I am sorry about the issue with your roman tub, and I am glad to help you. The RP24097 1/4 turn stops will fit. Best regards Eric

Can T2705 be used with a 600 series rough in valve?

Renovating our bathroom and purchased the trim kit. A lot of water leaks from the spout. Handles fit the valves fine.
Asked by: E
Thank you for your question. I will need clarification of your model numbers, please. The 600 series rough is a single handle tub and shower rough in valve. The T2705 is a roman tub trim. The two are not compatible at all.

What cartridge model is used with the T2705 Roman 3 hole model?

It is leaking and I wish to change the cartridges Thanks
Asked by: Cam
Hi Cam, Thank you for your question. Your model T2705 faucet uses the RP24096 stem assembly and the RP4993 seats and springs to control the water flow. Replacing these parts should stop your leak. Thanks, Dave

Switch from T2710 to T2738?

We just bought a house with a gold T2710 on the tub, and there is no access to the rough-in. The spout has a set screw on the back, so reading this page made me think I could swap to the T2738. But http://answers.deltafaucet.com/answers/7551-en_us/product/faq_finish/delta-finish-questions-answers/questions.htm says "Delta Faucet model # T2710 can only be changed out to another T2710 because there is an anti-swivel pin in place underneath the spout." Can I switch from the T2710 to T2738 without accessing the rough-in? Can I change the stem assembly (to avoid the faucet's set-screw puncturing the plastic stem I currently have)? Finally, we have "brushed nickel" for everything else in our bathroom. Is the closest thing from Delta the "stainless steel"?
Asked by: Jackie
Hi Jackie, Thank you for your questions. The T2738 trim will fit on the rough that the T2710 uses. The spout that comes in the T2738 trim is not large enough to cover the additional hole left by the anti-swivel pin used with the T2710 spout. The hole will have to be repaired. When switching from knob style to lever style handles you will want to switch out the existing stem assemblies to RP25513 that has the metal stem and will allow the lever handles to function properly. Our (SS) brilliance stainless finish is a brushed finish comparable to other brands brushed nickel. Thanks, Dave
