Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet We had a plumber install this faucet into our tub as our tub is a Roman tub and doesn't have way access into the faucet area. The plumber was great but the faucet is beautiful and works very well. Overall, no complaints at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love, love! This faucet is gorgeous! The finish is beautiful and the reach into the tub is amazing. We have an older bathtub and it just spruced it right up! It’s easy to install and it takes just minutes to fill up my garden tub. The flow reminds me of a high class hotel tub with how quickly it fills up the tub. I wish I had more tubs because I’d grab more of these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from looks cool I got this tub faucet to freshen up our bathroom. I was able to replace the valves and faucet complete and it was relatively easy to do and the finished product looks GREAT. The valves offer great temp. control and the faucet flows nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, high quality product. This is not the first product we’ve bought from Delta and it won’t be my last! It’s a trustworthy brand that always produces great products. I recently purchased a home and had to renovate the entire thing. It’s beautiful but has been a process. I’m so glad I went with the Delta faucet for our new bathtub/shower. Having to redo all the piping and entire bathroom has been work, but knowing I have dependable products makes it worth the work. The products came with everything you need to set up. The shower head is a perfect size and both fixtures fit with our modern look. I am very pleased this item!

I would like to replace an old Delta roman tub faucet (model 2770) with new model (T2792). Can I replace trim only?

I would like to not have to replace the valve system underneath, as it is sweated on to water supply. Removed handles and spout, but the trim rings are attached to base, not sure how to remove without removing nuts from underneath.
Asked by: Dave
Hi Dave, Thank you for your question! If your current tub spout has a set screw on the back side of the spout, then any of our trim kits that start with a T27 will interchange for you. Some examples are T2710 and T2792. If your current spout does not have a set screw on the back side of the spout, then you would need to install a R2707 rough in valve below your tub decking to be able to use the new trim kits. Also, you will have to unthread the handle base to remove it. Best regards, Brandis

Can I use T2705 with my 25year old Delta gold garden tub set?

Sorry I don't know model number. Spout has set screw in back but valves are old style with washers. I am trying to refresh without pulling tub. TIA
Asked by: Alpharettark
Hi Alpharettark, Thank you for your question. As a rule of thumb if the set screw is located on the back of the roman tub spout the new trims will work with your existing rough in valves. To verify please remove your existing tub spout and see if your rough in spout connection is the same as the attached picture of the current R2707. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/r2700.html Thanks, Dave

The 2705 was installed on the garden/roman tub when we purchased the home. I would like to swap out the trim to a brushed nickel finish. Are the trim kits interchangeable? Thanks
Asked by: Rick
Hi Rick, Thank you for your question. Any of the new trims will work on your valve if you have the T2705 as your existing trim/faucet. Thanks, Dave

Which trim to use

I have a T2705 with Crystal Knobs and a RP14979 with a crystal know. What would be the best replacement in A nickel finish?
Asked by: ko
Hi Ko, Thank you for your question! Please check to make sure the spout has a set screw on the back. If so, any current T27_ trim kit should work with the existing valve. However, you will need access below the deck to change the transfer valve trim (RP14979) if the unit was installed prior to 2006. Our Stainless Steel finish is similar to a brushed nickel. Cosmetic remodel of a bathroom. The old Roman tub faucet has an end valve assembly of RP4972....and contains RP24096 stem assembly. Will new trim kit T2705 work?
Asked by: Jerry

Unfortunately, we don't carry other handles designed to fit the included handle bases. See our selection of tub filler trims here. Purchased T2705-SS. Spout set screw in back. Using old 20+ year old rough-in (don't want to replace). Spout installed fine. Using RP24096 stem unit. Handles don't sit down all the way on to stems, as stems seem to short. Any new stem options?

Asked by: mike24
Hi mike24, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T2705-SS. Unfortunately, we don't carry other stem options. Older Roman tub valves were adjustable for height. You want to make sure the valve is set high enough in the deck so that current RT handles, which might be taller than older handles, can be assembled to the valve stems and not scrape on the handle bases. The minimum height from the deck to the top of the stem should be 1 ¾”. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
