Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet We had a plumber install this faucet into our tub as our tub is a Roman tub and doesn't have way access into the faucet area. The plumber was great but the faucet is beautiful and works very well. Overall, no complaints at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love, love! This faucet is gorgeous! The finish is beautiful and the reach into the tub is amazing. We have an older bathtub and it just spruced it right up! It’s easy to install and it takes just minutes to fill up my garden tub. The flow reminds me of a high class hotel tub with how quickly it fills up the tub. I wish I had more tubs because I’d grab more of these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, high quality product. This is not the first product we’ve bought from Delta and it won’t be my last! It’s a trustworthy brand that always produces great products. I recently purchased a home and had to renovate the entire thing. It’s beautiful but has been a process. I’m so glad I went with the Delta faucet for our new bathtub/shower. Having to redo all the piping and entire bathroom has been work, but knowing I have dependable products makes it worth the work. The products came with everything you need to set up. The shower head is a perfect size and both fixtures fit with our modern look. I am very pleased this item!

Q&A

Can T2705 be used with a 600 series rough in valve?

Renovating our bathroom and purchased the trim kit. A lot of water leaks from the spout. Handles fit the valves fine.
Asked by: E
Thank you for your question. I will need clarification of your model numbers, please. The 600 series rough is a single handle tub and shower rough in valve. The T2705 is a roman tub trim. The two are not compatible at all.

What cartridge model is used with the T2705 Roman 3 hole model?

It is leaking and I wish to change the cartridges Thanks
Asked by: Cam
Hi Cam, Thank you for your question. Your model T2705 faucet uses the RP24096 stem assembly and the RP4993 seats and springs to control the water flow. Replacing these parts should stop your leak. Thanks, Dave

Switch from T2710 to T2738?

We just bought a house with a gold T2710 on the tub, and there is no access to the rough-in. The spout has a set screw on the back, so reading this page made me think I could swap to the T2738. But http://answers.deltafaucet.com/answers/7551-en_us/product/faq_finish/delta-finish-questions-answers/questions.htm says "Delta Faucet model # T2710 can only be changed out to another T2710 because there is an anti-swivel pin in place underneath the spout." Can I switch from the T2710 to T2738 without accessing the rough-in? Can I change the stem assembly (to avoid the faucet's set-screw puncturing the plastic stem I currently have)? Finally, we have "brushed nickel" for everything else in our bathroom. Is the closest thing from Delta the "stainless steel"?
Asked by: Jackie
Hi Jackie, Thank you for your questions. The T2738 trim will fit on the rough that the T2710 uses. The spout that comes in the T2738 trim is not large enough to cover the additional hole left by the anti-swivel pin used with the T2710 spout. The hole will have to be repaired. When switching from knob style to lever style handles you will want to switch out the existing stem assemblies to RP25513 that has the metal stem and will allow the lever handles to function properly. Our (SS) brilliance stainless finish is a brushed finish comparable to other brands brushed nickel. Thanks, Dave

I would like to replace an old Delta roman tub faucet (model 2770) with new model (T2792). Can I replace trim only?

I would like to not have to replace the valve system underneath, as it is sweated on to water supply. Removed handles and spout, but the trim rings are attached to base, not sure how to remove without removing nuts from underneath.
Asked by: Dave
Hi Dave, Thank you for your question! If your current tub spout has a set screw on the back side of the spout, then any of our trim kits that start with a T27 will interchange for you. Some examples are T2710 and T2792. If your current spout does not have a set screw on the back side of the spout, then you would need to install a R2707 rough in valve below your tub decking to be able to use the new trim kits. Also, you will have to unthread the handle base to remove it. Best regards, Brandis

Can I use T2705 with my 25year old Delta gold garden tub set?

Sorry I don't know model number. Spout has set screw in back but valves are old style with washers. I am trying to refresh without pulling tub. TIA
Asked by: Alpharettark
Hi Alpharettark, Thank you for your question. As a rule of thumb if the set screw is located on the back of the roman tub spout the new trims will work with your existing rough in valves. To verify please remove your existing tub spout and see if your rough in spout connection is the same as the attached picture of the current R2707. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/r2700.html Thanks, Dave

The 2705 was installed on the garden/roman tub when we purchased the home. I would like to swap out the trim to a brushed nickel finish. Are the trim kits interchangeable? Thanks
Asked by: Rick
Hi Rick, Thank you for your question. Any of the new trims will work on your valve if you have the T2705 as your existing trim/faucet. Thanks, Dave

RP24096 and RP25513 are the same stem unit, however, the only difference is that RP25513 includes a 1/4" turn stop that is not required for a Roman Tub. We appreciate your inquiry. Asked by: markymark
Hi markymark, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T2705. As a tub filler, this faucet trim is not designed to limit the flow rate. The Delta Rough-In valve R2707 that goes with the Delta Roman Tub Trim T2705 does not have flow restrictor devices in the valve, so the flow rate will be determined by the pressure, plumbing fittings, and pipe configuration. The end valve would flow roughly 14-18 gallons per minute. Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
