What is the proper stem assembly to be used with this trim kit?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T2737.
The handle valves use RP24096 stems and RP4993 seats and springs. See the parts diagram here for more information:

I should clarify below that both valve stems are in the same direction. Should the be opposite?
The right and left handle are identical configurations. Both handles are to the right in the off position and turn to the right when turning the water on. How do I reverse the handle on the left for hot to be to the left when off and turn right when on?

I apologize for the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to help you.
You will first turn the water off at the shut-off valves under the sink. With the handle removed (using a 3/32" Allen wrench) and the bonnet nut removed simply remove the left side stem unit, flip it 180 degrees and reinstall. This will allow for the handle to rotate in the correct direction.

Both handles on my Velum Roman Tub Trim came with the same orientation. Can the lever handle be removed from the base so that the orientation can be reversed for hot/cold?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T2737.
Removing the handle and changing the orientation of the stem assembly will change the way the handle turns.
Remove the handle by turning the handle base counterclockwise. The stems should be oriented so that the stops point to the right. See a picture of proper orientation for lever handles here:

Is there a handheld sprayer that could be added to this faucet?
Can I add a handheld shower wand for a bathtub to this fixture?
