Excellent Option to Control Temp, Volume, and Diverter
Excellent shower control for managing temperature, pressure, and diverting. Only complaint is wish it was avaipable in Lumacoat. The currebt finish tequires constant wupe down to avoid water spots.

Will the Delta Angular Modern Monitor, 17 Series valve trim with 3 - Setting Integrated Diverter, Model #T27867 operate a bathtub faucet, overhead rain shower, and a hand-held shower (for a bather to wash their hair) independently of each other?

Our Delta Faucet DELTA® Angular Modern Monitor® 17 Series Valve Trim With 3-Setting Integrated Diverter MODEL#: T27867 allows for 3 items to be plumbed to the valve, however, the tub spout is not recommended. This is due to the flow rate being cut in half, it would take you twice as long to fill the tub is plumbed from the diverter.

Installing T27867-RB 3 setting diverter. Top and left plumbed to a rain and handheld shower. The included diverter is not working correctly. all three settings have both the showers running. Is the diverter packaged wrong? can it be installed wrong?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP51918 3-Setting Diverter Cartridge. I apologize you are having difficulty with your new trim kit. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help!
This diverter cartridge is included in the T27867-RB trim kit and should have two individual settings and one shared setting. I recommend removing the cartridge and turning on the water. This will shoot water out of the valve across the shower and will flush out debris that may be in the valve and causing the diverter to seat incorrectly.

Can I swap the integrated diverter on my 3 setting trim kit with a 6 setting diverter in order to send water to the right side port outlet of the valve? The right side valve was plumbed by mistake

Is it possible to pair a 6-function diverter with this trim? I have a hand held shower, an over head shower, and a spout. I have the R22000WS installed with it.

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T27867-SS.
The included 3-function cartridge can be replaced with a 6-function cartridge to divert to three features. Or, the 6-fuction trim T27967-SS can be used.
We don't recommend connecting a tub spout to a shower diverter. It will work but the flow can be reduced compared to an R10000 series valve with a tub outlet. It may also be inconvenient to have the tub spout turned on in the shared positions. Or, the spout may drip until put in a shared position to let air into the pipe and drain the water.

My hot water and cold water are reversed after installation. Is there a way to fix? My plumbing has hit water on the left and cold on the right. However, this Ara 17 multi function valves has hot water in the right and cold in the left .
Is there supposed to be some sort of seal where the diverter stem goes through trim plates? The temp control stem has them. ( Delta T27867 shower valve)

what is the difference between the 17 series and the 14 series?
Thank you for your question, Carmen! The 14 series is a single function pressure balanced trim that does not have a separate volume control. The 17 series is a dual function pressure balanced trim, that has separate handles for volume and temperature.

I bought this to be used on three outlets, one for wall shower head, one for ceiling shower head, and one for handheld shower head. But only two placed came out water. Is this for three shower heads, or I should buy the 7 option one?

Our T27867-BL includes the diverter cartridge that will only open up to the top port, and the left port. You will need a 6-setting diverter cartridge, or a 3-setting non-shared cartridge if you are using all three ports. Please note that the trim plate will only have 3 squares for the different settings whereas the T27967-BL will show 6.

Does the individual temp setting in this allow for more volume since the temp and volume are separate compared to the all in one handle that adjusts temp and volume at the same time?

The maximum system flow rate for this trim is 5.8 GPM at 60 psi with an R22000 valve. The similar 14 series model T24867-RB without volume control maximum is 5.0 GPM. This would only make a difference if running more than one shower feature at once. Other installation factors can impact the maximum flow.

We do not recommend connecting a tub spout to the diverter as the flow rate will be reduced when compared with the bottom port of an R10000 valve with a corresponding 13/14, 17, or 17T series trim.
