PRODUCT FEATURES
The confident slant of the Pivotal® Bath Collection makes it a striking addition to a bathroom’s contemporary geometry for a look that makes a statement. Delta® showers with Monitor® pressure-balance valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. By integrating separate controls on one trim with the MultiChoice® Integrated Shower Diverter, we’ve streamlined installation and your shower style. With the MultiChoice Universal system, you have the freedom to upgrade style and functionality later. And, because there’s no need to alter plumbing behind the wall, you save time, effort and money on future renovation updates. With separate volume and temperature control on this model, simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle — without interrupting your set temperature. You can install with confidence, knowing that Delta showers are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Q&A

Why is the delta t24859 not recommended for tub spout ? We already have the rough-in installed behind new tile and NOW see that the trim-kit says "not recommended for tub spout". Will it work ? or not ?

Asked by: John
Thank you for your question, John! Unfortunately an Integrated diverter trim is not recommended to be used with a tub spout as the water is mixed in the valve and then forced upwards to the diverter. Water would need to be re-directed back down to the tub spout which may cause a noticeable drop in pressure. Best regards, Edward

I want to use "Tub Spout - Non-Diverter" https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/RP64722SS and shower head. Select between shower and spout using https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/T27899-SS will that work?

Asked by: Brian
Hello Brian, Thank you for your question. The Delta Pivotal 17 Series Integrated 3-Function Diverter Trim T27899-SS is not designed to be used with a tub spout. However, you may connect a non-diverter tub spout to one of the diverter ports as a temperature tester. Since the flow rate from the spout would be lower than a standard installation, we do not recommended to use it as a tub filler. Alternatively, you can install an R10000 and R11000 valve with corresponding trim kits. The tub spout should be connected to the bottom port of an R10000 valve to provide sufficient flow to fill a tub. Best regards, Tanya

Why is it not recommended for tub installations? My plan - one main showerhead, one hand wand and one tub spout. Purchase tub spout with a diverter this should work perfect. Am I missing something? Main showerhead and tub spout on same line. Hand on 2nd.

Thank you for your inquiry, Bmanke! The R22000 and R22000-WS (with stops) MultiChoice Universal Integrated Shower Diverter Rough-In valve that is required for the install of the Delta Pivotal 17 Series Integrated 3 Function Diverter T27899-SS Trim, does not have a port for a tub spout installation. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-B-T27899%20Rev%20A.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Can you please clarify whether all visible parts of this assembly are made of metal or plastic. Specifically, are the handles and square face plate metal or plastic?

Asked by: plumbist
Thank you for your question, Plumbist. The trim pieces of the Delta Pivotal 17 Series Trim Kit T27899 are metallic, except for the temperature knob. Best regards, Tanya

What is the difference between the R22000 and the R22000-WS ?  Also the T27899 and T27967

Asked by: Trevor
Hi Trevor! Thank you for your question. The R22000-WS is essentially the same valve but includes screwdriver stops on the rough-in body for easy shut off right at the valve. The T27899 is a three function diverter trim that includes a three function diverting cartridge whereas the T27967 is a six function trim and cartridge that allows for both individual and shared positions when diverting the water. R10000 and R11000 valve are used by which fixtures? I want to NOT use a spout diverter on a shower/bath combination. Brian

Asked by: Brian
Hello Brian, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta R22000 is the correct valve to use with the Delta Pivotal Integrated Diverter T27899-SS Shower Trim. This valve does not have a bottom port for a tub spout connections. Best regards, Tanya
