With a design inspired by the shape of sailboats, the Galeon® Bath Collection brings a chiseled, contemporary look into the bath. Delta® showers with Monitor® pressure-balance valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. By integrating separate controls on one trim with the MultiChoice® Integrated Shower Diverter, we’ve streamlined installation and your shower style. With separate volume and temperature control on this model, simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle — without interrupting your set temperature. You can install with confidence, knowing that Delta showers are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty.

MODEL#: T27971-BL does not have internal stops. However, the valve that goes in the wall has internal stops the model number is: R22000-WS. Please view the link below.

When I operate the valve the hot/cold knob hits the selector knob. This does not allow the water choice temp to get hot completely. Only 1/2 way. Water is warm but not hot. Is there something wrong with the design?

We apologize for the issues you are experiencing and we are happy to help! The volume handle and the temperature handle will rotate to the full temperature. To get hotter water, the rotational limit stop would need to be adjusted. Please refer to page 6 box 4 in the link below!

I can’t tell from the description if this comes with the diverter or not. Is the multi choice diverter included in this?

This is a trim kit for a mixing valve and integrated diverter valve. It includes a diverter cartridge with 6 settings for three shower features. 3 individual settings and 3 shared settings.
The model R22000 or R22000-WS valve rough is sold separately and would be needed to install this trim for a complete mixing valve and diverter valve.
