Can't get the water hot enough
Very disappointed. Six months old and already having a problem. As our city water gets colder in the winter we have the temperature adjusted as hot as it can go but our shower is not very warm. I'm finding other people are having the same issue. This valve replaced a 44 year old Moen that never gave us a problem.

Perfect for our shower remodel
I’m installing the Delta model #T27999 Pivotal 2-Handle Monitor 17 Series Valve Trim with 6-setting Diverter and the Delta model#R22000 Multi-choice Universal Integrated Shower Diverter Rough Inlets Rough-In into our new shower. You need both pieces. Very easy to install. You use the plumbing you have behind your walls. Saves you time. You control the volume and water temperature with two separate handles for more control. Top handle controls Diverter function and the bottom handle controls on/off and adjusts volume and the dial controls temperature. Set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on. Comes with the monitor 17 series with dual function pressure balance cartridge. It has theee pets, six setting diverters, three individual positions and three shared. The Lumicoat finish is easy to clean and resist’s mineral buildup and hard water stains. Comes with a lifetime limited warranty. I like my showers cooler than my wife so this is perfect for setting our on water temperatures.

A beautiful designer look for my shower!
I am so happy with My Delta T27999-SS-PR shower diverter, It is just what I was looking for, for my bathroom. It has such a sleek , sexy style which makes my shower look and feel new and beautiful like a model home. I love the brushed nickel finish as it matches perfectly with my other finishes. My husband said he didn't have a problem with installing it. He does have a lot of experience but is not a professional. It's so nice!

Very Elegant Shower Control
Wow, I was very impressed with not only the quality of this shower control valve system but also the finish of the unit and the looks of it are extremely elegant. Knob controls are super smooth and this is an amazing upgrade from what we previously had installed.

I am in between model T27999 and T27967. I am connecting a rain fall and a shower head. I would like to have each port work independently and shared at the same time. Will both do the same functions?

Thank you for your question. For two shower components, we recommend the Delta Monitor T27899 or T27867 Integrated Valve and 3 setting Diverter Trim Kit. These will allow two individual settings and one shared setting.

i am installing a shower with: ceiling mounted rainfall, wall mounted shower head, wall mounted shower handle. i would like them all to be able to work independently. Do i need a 3 function diverter or 6 function diverter for this purpose?

Are replacement parts available for this? Specifically the inner handle on the lower section.

A replacement volume handle in black stainless is RP91919KSPR. A temperature knob and cover are RP91920KSPR.

Our plumber switched the Hot and Cold feed lines to our Delta T27999-BS faucet. Since the plumbing is behind the wall, can I rotate the Dual Function Pressure Balance Cartridge RP46463 so the Temp Control Handle works per the red/blue dot?

Is it normal that I have to turn the flow control half way (45 degrees) before any water starts coming out? Once I pass 45 degrees, the flow increases as expected until the handle stops at 90deg. Im concerned it wasnt installed/adjusted correctly.

Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I'm sorry that you are experiencing this concern with the handle of your Delta Faucet 2-Handle Monitor 17 Series Valve Trim With 6-Setting Diverter, model T27999-SS; however, I am happy to assist you.
We recommend flushing your shower unit. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute.
Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. If you hear the cartridge rattle, please do not be alarmed; this means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If it does not, you can try soaking the cartridge in white vinegar for about 15-30 minutes.

Pivotal PR27999. Need to connect a fixed shower, independent hand shower and three body sprays. Will this model accommodate these functions?

Yes, you can use a showerhead, hand shower, and two body sprays that are 1.0 GPM with this model. Due to the water restrictions in certain states, there is a limit on body sprays and the GPM for hand showers and showerheads. Please also note there will not be a shared connection between these components.

Hi, do you have to change the cartridge of the R22000 in order for this valve to work? Our plumber is saying yes, but I don't see that anywhere in the description.
