Can't get the water hot enough
Very disappointed. Six months old and already having a problem. As our city water gets colder in the winter we have the temperature adjusted as hot as it can go but our shower is not very warm. I'm finding other people are having the same issue. This valve replaced a 44 year old Moen that never gave us a problem.

Perfect for our shower remodel
I’m installing the Delta model #T27999 Pivotal 2-Handle Monitor 17 Series Valve Trim with 6-setting Diverter and the Delta model#R22000 Multi-choice Universal Integrated Shower Diverter Rough Inlets Rough-In into our new shower. You need both pieces. Very easy to install. You use the plumbing you have behind your walls. Saves you time. You control the volume and water temperature with two separate handles for more control. Top handle controls Diverter function and the bottom handle controls on/off and adjusts volume and the dial controls temperature. Set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on. Comes with the monitor 17 series with dual function pressure balance cartridge. It has theee pets, six setting diverters, three individual positions and three shared. The Lumicoat finish is easy to clean and resist’s mineral buildup and hard water stains. Comes with a lifetime limited warranty. I like my showers cooler than my wife so this is perfect for setting our on water temperatures.

A beautiful designer look for my shower!
I am so happy with My Delta T27999-SS-PR shower diverter, It is just what I was looking for, for my bathroom. It has such a sleek , sexy style which makes my shower look and feel new and beautiful like a model home. I love the brushed nickel finish as it matches perfectly with my other finishes. My husband said he didn't have a problem with installing it. He does have a lot of experience but is not a professional. It's so nice!

Very Elegant Shower Control
Wow, I was very impressed with not only the quality of this shower control valve system but also the finish of the unit and the looks of it are extremely elegant. Knob controls are super smooth and this is an amazing upgrade from what we previously had installed.

I am building a shower that will have 3 outputs: fixed head, rain head from ceiling, and hand held. Would this trim be able to switch between the 3 outputs? If not, can you recommend one that would?
Thank you for your question, Scott! The Pivotal 17 series valve with integrated 6-setting diverter will work for this type of installation. The diverter will allow you to use all three functions individually as well as offering shared positions.

Thank you for your question. The valve and diverter cartridges that are included in the T27999 are plastic. The handles, sleeves, and trim escutcheon plate are metal.

What does it mean to have a six setting diverter? I will have a raincan shower, bar mount hand held for walk in shower & would like to add a "toe touch" faucet for filling containers about 18 inches from floor. Is this product suitable? Overkill?

Thank you for your question. The 6 setting diverter for the Delta T27999-SS will include 3 individual settings for three shower components and three shared settings for each shower component on two at a time. We would recommend the toe touch faucet be installed separately and not on one of the diverter ports.

What is the difference between Delta MODEL#: T27999 and MODEL#: T27867 apart from 3 setting diverter and 6 setting diverter

After weeks of debate, I chose Pivotal in Polished Nickel for my new Master Bath...you offer the Pivotal line for tub filler, faucets, shower diverter valve trim in polished nickel but not the dual handle valve trim ? Seriously?
Thank you for your question, Sanchez5590! The Pivotal line currently does not offer a integrated diverter trim in the Polished Nickel finish and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We do offer the 17 series valve only trim as model T17099-PN which will work in conjunction with a 3 or 6 setting diverter trim such as the T11899-PN or T11999-PN.

I can't find this in matte black to match all my other Delta Ara fixtures. Is it made in matte black?
Thank you for your question, Sidn! Unfortunately we do not offer an integrated Pivotal valve trim in the Matte Black finish, however, this collection does offer a 17 series trim as well as a six setting diverter trim both in this finish. I will include a link to both trims below for reference.
