The Delta® MultiChoice® Integrated Shower Diverter consolidates custom shower design with its consumer-preferred streamlined style eliminating the need for an additional diverter valve. With three popular style choices to coordinate with any bathroom décor, it provides you the flexibility to select the type of custom shower functionality you prefer. With the MultiChoice® Universal system, you have the freedom to upgrade style and functionality later. Delta's dual-function thermostatic valve cartridge keeps water temperature consistent (within 3.6°) by actually measuring and monitoring the temperature of the water. Temperature can be set in order to remain consistent shower after shower.

Amazing shower
This temperature & water controller is amazing. You set the temperature handle at your desired temperature & then all you have to do is turn the larger handle on & you are ready to go.

Works and looks great
There were limited options of all in one valves that could control 3 shower fixtures, the temperature, and the water volume. I'm really happy I found this one. I was considering other options that cost a lot more but this is great.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have this unit in Polished Nickel at the time. The T27T959 comes in Chrome, Brilliance Stainless Steel, and Venetian Bronze.

Based on your response to Tweetie831 concerning using this valve for a tub spout application, how would I go about designing a system that would allow for full flow to all (possibly 3) outlets including a tub spout?

Thank you for your inquiry! The integrated valve that is used with the Delta Contemporary TempAssure 6-Setting trim T27T959-SS faucet does not have a bottom port for a tub spout connection.
You may connect a non-diverter tub spout to the 6-setting diverter as a temperature tester, but the flow rate will be reduced, so it is not recommended to be used for a tub filler spout. You would need to also install a separate MultiChoice Universal Valve R10000-UNBX and Tub Trim kit of your choice.

Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to use this unit with a tub spout except as a temperature tester only. The flow rate from the diverter will be less than from the bottom port of a standard R10000 rough-in valve.

I am in California with its Title 20 water efficiency requirements. I am considering this valve/diverter to feed 3 separate heads. Each heads would be below the 1.8Gpm requirement. Is this device compliant in the shared function?

In order to be compliant with the California Title 20 Water Efficiency requirements you would need to use the non-shared cartridge assembly for the Delta Contemporary Integrated TempAssure Trim T27T959 model. However, we would also recommend checking your local and state plumbing codes since that is subject to change.

What is the difference between the T27959-SS and T27T959-SS? What added function does the T27T959-SS. It looks like there is a thermostatic element to this one that i'm not sure what that means.

These trims are essentially identical however the TempAssure Thermostatic valve cartridge is capable of keeping the water temperature consistent (within 3.6°) by actually measuring and monitoring the temperature of the water. how much less is water flow
please tell me how less water pressure is on tub spout

Thank you for your question. The maximum flow rate will be .6 GPM to 1.0 GPM lower from the diverter port of the R22000 valve than from the tub spout port of an R10000 valve using the same series trim at 60 PSI.

Thanks for your question. The larger handle at the bottom is a volume control (on/off) and the front handle controls the temperature. The handle at the top allows you to divert the water between three different showering components (shower head, hand shower, etc.).

Function of upper handle
I understand the handles on the bottom.. large handle is off/on and smaller is for temperature.
The small upper can it control handheld or rain head or Both at the same time?

Thank you for your question. The model T27T959 is a 17T series valve trim with an integrated 6-setting diverter, meaning the handle on top will divert water between three different products. If you only need to divert between a raincan shower head and hand held with the option of using both at the same time, we would recommend the model T27T859. Below is link.
