Great Product - Purchased for multiple installations[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re big fans of this valve and trim combo and have used it in multiple installations, including my own home. It’s a great product overall. Installation is straightforward. It’s easy to use. The temperature can be preset, so the valve requires only an on/off action.

Worth it. Love. This is the best on off for 4 water sources. Works exactly as described. We like it so much better than the push buttons in our other shower and it's easy to have any combination of the water sources on. Love it. Well worth the price. Very durable.

Looks great and easy installation but the plastic temperature dial.My contractor installed this faucet for my bathroom renovation project. It looks great and feel solid except the temperature tune button, it is a plastic one. I definitely prefer a metal solid feeling than a cheap plastic. At the time I put my order in, I saw one with the identical looking at $2xx and the one I got at $3xx. Some one put review saying the $2xx one with a cheap plastic temperature dial. I literally payed more than $100 in trying to avoid the plastic piece but end up the same. I think whoever buying this faucet should try the cheaper one first.
Again, it is a good looking faucet but with some imperfection.
If I want 4 functions and options of useing at least 2 at a time do I need separate water line? And does these help with pressure. Which is recommended ? I also wrote the earlier function limited in characters. Sorry
Asked by: deborah
Hi, Deborah!
Thank you for your question. The fourth showering component would require a separate rough-in valve and trim. Only three shower components will fit onto the Delta T27T967 Valve Trim with 6-Setting Integrated Diverter. Only two shower components will work at once.

I plan on having shower head, hand-held shower and 3 spray heads (to operate as one). Can you confirm that the 6 setting diverter T17T067 will allow use of each of these independently as well as being able to use any two of the three at one time..Thanks
Asked by: Dick
Thank you for your question, Dick! The T27T967 Trim Kit will allow you to run each of these components individually or any combination of two together.

What about if you install a rain head, a shower head, and body sprays in one wall, in the opposite wall you install the controls, to start the water without going inside the stall, and the jn 90 degrees wall install a hand held, across from the door?
Asked by: CRTM
Hello CRTM,
Thank you for you question. We would recommend installing the handle valve inside the shower for access to the temperature adjustment and diverter. The showering components can be installed on a different wall than the valve. However, the Delta Angular Modern 17T Series 6-Setting Trim T27T967 unit can only divert between three components. The fourth showering component would require a separate rough-in valve and trim. Please feel free to reach out to our customer service team at 1-800-345-3358 or customerservice@deltafaucet.com if there is anything else you need.

Hello,
I am looking to use this with a hand shower, rain shower and standard shower head. Can all components be individually controlled (on one at a time) and then all on at the same time?
Asked by: GP2
Dear GP2,
Thank you for your question. A hand shower and both shower heads can be installed with the Delta Angular T27T967 valve trim. This will allow each individual unit running by themselves and 3 shared positions between each item.

What is a 6 setting diverter valve and what is a 3 setting valve? What does each do, and what are the advantages of a 6 vs 3?
Asked by: Scott Brennan
Dear Scott Brennan,
Thank you for your question. The Delta Angular Modern T27867 and T27967, 3 and 6 Setting Integrated Diverter and Trim, are used when adding handshower, body sprays, or another showerhead. The top handle is the diverter handle, to switch from one or combination of two running at the same time. If you are adding one extra showering unit, you would use the 3 setting and if you are adding two extra showering units you would use the 6 setting.

Where is the set screw located on the handle, for tightening?
Asked by: GA DAWG 71
Hi GA DAWG 71,
Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T27T967-RB.
The handle set screw is located on the top of the handle when the handle is pointed down.
To remove the temperature knob cover, first disengage the larger snap on the knob cover. See step 4 A1 of the installation instructions for more information:

I have new built shower with 3 body sprays (2.5 gpm each), showerhead (1.75 gpm) & a hand held. When using 2 components, or just using the body sprays alone, the water pressure is insufficient. Installer recc'd this. Will it help?
Asked by: Refturner
Hi Refturner,
Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model
T27T967-SS.
Our TempAssure thermostatic shower trims do have a higher total flow rate than our pressure-balanced trims. It should help, but the body sprays may still not have full flow. The total flow rate also depends on the home water pressure and the valve rough.
With a TempAssure trim, if the valve rough is R22000, for a total 7.5 gpm for the body sprays, the water pressure would need to be at least about 70 psi. A 9.25 gpm total flow would require higher water pressure close to our recommended maximum of 100 psi.
R22000-WS valve rough total flow rate is a little less, typically one gpm or less difference.
Please reach out with any additional questions!
Best Regards,
Bryan

My diverter valve vibrates noisily. It sounds like an old steam engine. Quite disturbing, and the valve doesn't do a great job of diverting, sometimes taking a few minutes for a new setting to lock in. Is this a defective valve?
Asked by: Graham
Hello Graham,
Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you.
The Vibration and noise are caused by debris or blockage, We would recommend a complete flush of the system.
1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off.
* Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend do this the night before removing the handle.
2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve.
3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks.
4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out.
5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body.
6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let flush for 30 seconds.
7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. If it does not, the cartridge will need to be replaced.
Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Why is the temperature control knob plastic when all of the rest is metal?
When I turn the volume control on, it's very tight and almost makes a metal-on metal grinding sound. Why?
Asked by: DC47
Hello DC47!
Thank you for your question and we are happy to help! The temperature control knob is made of mixed materials to avoid rusting or deterioration as if it were made completely of metals, there is a higher possibility of it rusting and needing to be replaced earlier on.
If you are hearing grinding, we recommend loosening up the handle as it should not be "very tight". We also recommend soaking these parts in 50% warm water and 50% white vinegar to break up any debris or hard water build-up. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly.
Best Regards,
Carrie

The handle for the hot and cold is plastic. Can it be replaced with metal?
Asked by: Clay
Hi Clay,
Thanks for your question regarding T27T967! No, our Delta product is a mixture of metallic and non-metallic material, Quality is very important to us and our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high-quality performance. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance.
