Rated 1 out of 5 by from shower hardware and sink hardware DO NOT Work. The plumber came today to install those and said they wouldn't shut off, couldn't shut off the water. My husband reminded me when we put Delta hardware in the upstairs bathroom, that the inner workings of the knob that you turn on and off for the shower did not work either. We had to replace. This is unacceptable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really bad pressure and knob doesn’t work to deliver hot water smoothly The water pressure is very low and the water controller knob is very sensitive, the hot water comes only towards the last part of the turn and it’s too hot at the end . Not balanced

The shower in a bathroom we never use yet the water drips from the rain head one drop every hour or so. And if you line you the water control to be even with the divertor so they look in line the water runs very low

How do I turn off the rain head and just use the hand shower? I was told this was possible at the store (FERGUSON). My contractor had the faucet installed but the diverter only turns to the left and turns off the hand shower.

Hello, I apologize for the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to help you. You should be able to use just the showerhead, just the hand shower or both running at the same time. For this 3-setting diverter application you will want to ensure the right port was capped on the diverter valve. Please see the top diagram on page 6 in the following link to ensure the correct port was capped. Hello, this from Lowe’s. Model 342701-SP, Item 6280439. Lowe’s website says Modern Spotshield stainless. Is Lowe’s website wrong? I only see Brushed Nickel on Delta site. Need replacement faceplate, want to make sure it matches rest of shower trim pieces.

If I have an old Delta railhead shower faucet with hand held which had a push diverter, can this be used to replace that faucet, will it be compatible without doing alterations to the rest of the plumbing?

i have a delta model # 342701-cuz shower valve and i can not get the springs & seat into the valve ports. The springs fall back into valve body & i cant get the seat into the back of valve body. What’s the trick or am i missing something? frustrating?

How do I locate the water restrictor on this unit? I would like to remove it to increase the water flow from the rainhead.

Hi Robert! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. The Delta T342701 does not have a water restrictor. Removing restrictors from Delta Faucet products will void the warranty. To increase flow, we recommend soaking the shower head in 50% warm water and 50% white vinegar as well as flushing the valves of the shower. Picture shows *one* handle for temp & water flow. Clear turn up to increase flow. How do you set temperature. Asked before was told "Temperature dial will turn left to increase the temperature and right to lower it" but the picture *has no temp dial*
