Rated 2 out of 5 by from Diverter failed Redid my whole bath with Dryden and for the most part they look great and work except the diverter rod which came out about 3 yrs in. I've put up without the hand shower until needing several other items requiring a plumber only to find that we can't get the top of the diverter rod off (allen wrench won't turn screw to release knob) making it impossible to reinstall. I will join others in faulting delta for what appears to be a design flaw.

And now the diverter rod will no longer connect / screw into the diverter plug making this a useless tub set. And it also appears I can no longer purchase the piece I need. Very frustrated

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Replacement D-Lift Rod and knob. A lot of people have had the same problem with the shower diverted knob coming off after just a few uses. This has been happening for years and you’d think a reputable company would offer a full replacement of every set, given it is a very, very basic design fault. Anyway, I have a replacement rod, knob and screw. BUT, I cannot get the old rod out. Can anybody advise?

Will the handles from the Everly Collection fit with the Dryden faucet?

Thank you for your inquiry, Jodi23! The handles on the Delta Everly Lavatory faucet 35741-RB-DST are smaller than the handles on the Delta Dryden Roman Tub Trim T4751-RB. However, the handles are interchangeable with each other, due to the same stem assembly, that they attach to. Unfortunately, we do not manufacture a Roman/Whirlpool/Garden Tub faucet or handles in the Everly collection. Best regards, Tanya

Drain Assembly

We purchased the Dryden Roman Tub w/hand shower trim and the rough-in kit. However, we can not find the drain assembly that attaches to the lift rod on this kit. Where can we find the drain items? Thanks!

Hi bksouthard, Thank you for your question. The lift rod on the spout of the model T4751-RB roman tub trim controls the diverter to the hand shower. It is not part of the drain assembly. The bath waste assembly would have to be ordered as a separate item. We offer the RP693RB toe operated bath waste assembly with a 13-1/2" max vertical adjustment. Please verify if this drain assembly is tall enough for your tub. Thanks, Dave

Is it possible to add the hand shower after the fact?

We purchased the roman tub faucet collection through our builder, not realizing there was an optional hand shower. Can this be retrofitted?

Hi jupiter, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, models with a hand shower require a different rough-in valve than models without one. This unit uses an R4707 rough-in. Best regards, Jon

quality question

I am looking over the internet for purchasing several pieces from this collection. I've also stopped at a couple of design centers. Am I getting exactly the same product if I buy off the internet vs. a plumber/design center vs a big box store like Home Depot? Or are there different qualities depending on the seller for the same item? Also, I've seen a couple of reviews that I'd like to inquire about. One indicated the handheld shower on the tub faucet had some plastic parts, was very light and felt cheap. Can you tell me what this part is made of? The other review had a couple of people write in reviews on problems with the drain pop-up on the single lever faucet. Is this a common problem?

If the model number of the product you are purchasing, in this case T4751-RB is the same from the internet, a plumbing design center, or a big box store the product is the exact same item. Most of our shower products are made with engineered plastics that are designed to meet and exceed industry standards. All products are guaranteed with a lifetime warranty. Some shower products include brass (metal) components for added strength and weight. There is no functioning issue with the pop up drain assembly on the model 551-RB-DST. The lift rod is wedge shaped and located towards the bottom of the faucet to give a cleaner look. Thanks, Dave

Is the on position supposed to be 90 degrees or 180 degrees?

Hi there Karen, Thank you for your inquiry! The handle of the Delta Dryden Roman Tub T4751-PN are designed to rotate 90 degrees (1/4 turn, facing the inside of the tub) to turn the water on. What is the flow rate factor for this faucet? How many GPM?

I have a Jacuzzi 7236 Allusion Whirlpool tub which requires 62G at minimum and up to 83 gallons; so I need a tub faucet that has a high flow rate factor to reduce wait time on filling. If this one is not suitable, do you have recommendations? It needs to be a deck mount and with a relatively high arc. Thank you.

Hi EMom, Thank you for your question. The R4707 rough in valve used with the T4751 roman tub trim has a flow rate of 18 gallons per minuter at 60 psi. The hand shower flows at 2.0 gpm. Thanks, Dave
