I've put up without the hand shower until needing several other items requiring a plumber only to find that we can't get the top of the diverter rod off (allen wrench won't turn screw to release knob) making it impossible to reinstall. I will join others in faulting delta for what appears to be a design flaw.

This has been happening for years and you’d think a reputable company would offer a full replacement of every set, given it is a very, very basic design fault. Anyway, I have a replacement rod, knob and screw. BUT, I cannot get the old rod out. Can anybody advise?

quality question

I am looking over the internet for purchasing several pieces from this collection. I've also stopped at a couple of design centers. Am I getting exactly the same product if I buy off the internet vs. a plumber/design center vs a big box store like Home Depot? Or are there different qualities depending on the seller for the same item? Also, I've seen a couple of reviews that I'd like to inquire about. One indicated the handheld shower on the tub faucet had some plastic parts, was very light and felt cheap. Can you tell me what this part is made of? The other review had a couple of people write in reviews on problems with the drain pop-up on the single lever faucet. Is this a common problem?

If the model number of the product you are purchasing, in this case T4751-RB is the same from the internet, a plumbing design center, or a big box store the product is the exact same item. Most of our shower products are made with engineered plastics that are designed to meet and exceed industry standards. All products are guaranteed with a lifetime warranty. Some shower products include brass (metal) components for added strength and weight. There is no functioning issue with the pop up drain assembly on the model 551-RB-DST. The lift rod is wedge shaped and located towards the bottom of the faucet to give a cleaner look. Thanks, Dave

I want T4751 in SS finish. If I buy that package then what is the color of the hose RP40064? Is it SS as well?

Purchased and plumber installed Model T4751 in 2018. "Collar" around the base of my hand held shower has come loose. How do I re-attach it? Is this under warranty?

I have this faucet with the hand shower. A significant amount of water comes out of the hand shower when it is supposed to be off (diverter pushed all the way down). This is brand new and should not be doing this.

Our Delta Faucet Dryden™ Roman Tub With Hand Shower Trim in Champagne Bronze MODEL#: T4751-CZ diverter may have a blockage preventing it from closing. We recommend flushing and cleaning the diverter. Please follow the below instructions. First, you will need to shut the water off to the tub unit and place both handles in the on position to drain the rest of the residual water. Remove the button cover and the set screw from the back of the spout body. Once removed, pull up on the spout body to detach it from the valve. Unthread the diverter from the valve body, remove and place into a bowl of 50/50 white vinegar and water mixture. Next, flushing the unit will remove any blockage or debris. Wrap a towel around the body of the faucet, place a bowl or bucket over the valve, and aim the water towards the tub. Have an additional helper turn the hot and cold supply on and flush approximately 1-2 minutes. Turn the hot and cold water off and wipe the valve and area down with a soft cloth. Clean the diverter using the 50/50 mixture before reinserting back into the valve body. Thread the diverter assembly back into the valve body(do not overtighten), place the spout body back down onto the diverter as far as possible. Tighten the set screw to secure the spout to the diverter and valve body. Lastly, turn on the hot and cold water slowly and verify there is no leak when the water is at full pressure. Is it possible to get a new stem for the Dryden tub filler?  Our diverter handle stripped out of the stem. The stem side is damaged and I would buy the stem and the new diverter handle to ensure the problem is fixed. Our entire bathroom is Dryden.

Multiple complaints in reviews about the Dreyden Roman tub filler with hand spray, MH1234 is just one of them. What corrects the issue with the diverter rod\screw? No response will mean nothing has been done, but I sure hope I hear back before I order.

I installed a T4751-CZ. However when I turn on the hot or cold the full way, water comes out of the hand held shower at a low flow, When I lif the diverter rod, the shower goes full stream. I turn off the faucets, the diverter closes. Whats wrong?

Hi Pop 66, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T4751-CZ. This tub filler trim includes a hand shower and a lift rod on the spout to divert to the hand shower. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to add an additional sprayer or convert a Delta deck-mounted tub filler without a hand shower to add a hand shower. A tub filler without a sprayer use the valve rough R2707. A tub filler with a sprayer hand shower uses an R4707 valve rough. Please reach out with any additional questions! The trim portion of our bath diverter will not stay on and is not tightening.  Is it possible to just order that single piece?  We do not need the lift rod itself, just the top trim piece.
