Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hand sprayer is useless, known problem I had the entire Dryden set installed in my bathroom. Professionally installed. As many others have noted there is no groove for the screw in the diverter handle, so it comes off every time. Paying thousands for the set and then having problems from the basic design is so frustrating! I have told my bathroom designer not to recommend again. Even on this board, there are many reporting the same problem. I am sorry that I installed these Dryden fixtures.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shows Spots I bought this faucet a month ago and didn’t realize it would show hand prints and water spots as bad as it does. The handheld also has low pressure. I would exchange if I could.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poorly Designed Control Valve for Sprayer The Dryden faucet is beautiful. However, the handheld sprayer is almost useless because of the poor design of the diverter control. As many reviews have stated, the rod is very difficult to lift and the handle is barely held to the lift with a tiny allen screw. I called customer service the first time the allen screw came out. I could not locate the screw and wanted to order a new one. I could only order the $15.00 part, not just the screw. Now it has happened again and I cannot locate the allen screw. We use a pair of pliers to lift it up now. The pliers work much better that the control due to the amount of force that is required. The control has never made all of the water come out of the handheld sprayer, even with the pliers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this faucet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lines and the quality of this faucet is amazing. It is built well and really upgrades the look of a bathroom. Added to a Roman tub that had 3 holes by drilling a 4th. And it look beautiful and works perfectly. Couldn't have asked for anything better in my renovated bath.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lift Rod is Terrible As others have noted the diverter rod knob is held on by a tiny screw. The knob came off a few months ago and not amount of tightening or screw replacement will correct the issue; it's just a poor design. I hate to scrap it since it cost a pretty penny but cannot stand not being able to use the hand shower. If you're contemplating this faucet, don't buy it, it's not worth the high price for something you cannot even use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lift Rod problems We love the faucets, but, are having problems with the lift rod and finial for our tub. The finial has come off repeatedly and we put it back on but are not able to tighten it enough to prevent it from happening again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design of the diverter rod. Not functional. The diverter rod on this faucet is designed poorly. Whomever engineered this design didn't test it for functionality. We are so disappointed as we have used this tub diverter infrequently and the top knob comes apart from the stem and the bottom comes out of the base which is attached to pull up the diverter. There are not enough threads to secure either piece. The tiny screw which is supposed to hold the top knob in place is not strong enough. We expected this faucet to serve us for years in our new home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it This faucet is beautiful. We bought the whole collection. Vanity, tub and shower. We love them all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from All undone because of a lift rod... The Dryden collection is beautiful and works fantastically with our sinks and shower. However, the lift rod and finial for our tub is a major issue. Each time we want to use the hand shower and use the lift rod, the finial comes completely off due to the force required to pull the lift rod. Using a shear connection between the lift rod and the Allen bolt holding the finial in place simply does not work. I feel like this piece could have been designed better and it's unfortunate, as it makes use of the hand shower a cumbersome chore, knowing that I will have to get an Allen wrench to fix it time and time again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How far should the hand shower pull out?? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had this installed with my major master bath remodel this past month. I love the look, however, I just used the hand shower for the first time to wash the dog. I hadn't tested it prior and I don't feel as if the shower head pulls out far enough to be very useful. Certainly doesn't go even to the middle of the tub. I have been unsuccessful in finding any specifications on the length it can be pulled out. Any help out there??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well looks great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a few months now. We remodeled our basic builder bathroom after 10 years and I could be more happy with the tub faucet. I really like the hand held shower for cleaning the tub and washing the dogs. Mine is slightly offset becomes the tub drain was in the way. Still looks great. The spout the water comes out of is fairly large. I would buy it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Faulty design in diverter rod Overall, we like the faucet, especially the appearance. However, the cap on the top of the diverter rod comes off every time it's pulled, which causes it to be useless. I don't know if it was not installed correctly by the plumber, but I have tightened it myself several times. Evidently, the design of this particular part is poor. Very frustrating that a tiny part can essentially ruin your use of an expensive product like this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hand shower does not have the same detail as the rest of the collection. We recently did a whole bathroom remodel and decided to use the Dryden collection. The detail in the faucets and accessories is very classy. However, I am extremely disappointed in the hand shower. The base does not have the same detail as the rest of the pieces. It also has an odd angled, wide head that doesn’t seem to match the rest of the collection. It is very light weight – meaning it is plastic, therefore, the finish is not exact either. It also seems to be a very weak flow. I don’t think I would have been as picky about the Roman tub trim if the base of the hand shower had the same detail as the rest of the collection. The towel bars, robe hooks, and toilet paper holder are all lovely, sturdy fixtures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome faucet, installation instructions a bit confusing I love this faucet. My only issue is I thought the instructions were a bit lacking for a homeowner to install.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't use due to missing screw My plumber was installing it noticed a screw was missing, and has been unable to find a replacement. Leaving the hand shower useless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking Nice product, replaced old dated faucets with this model for 2 sinks and tub. Looks really nice, not too modern , a mix of modern and traditional. Sleek. I had a professional plumber install and no issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I love it,it's quiet, fills the tub quickly and the hand shower is indispensable for cleaning the large tub. Just be careful where you mount the hand shower, it almost doesn't reach the far end of my tub.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from damaged Faucet spout beautiful and functional, except for the very noticeable dent. Big remodel going on, the plumbers were here to install. No way I could send it back and start over. I did check the order to make sure I got the right fixtures, but it was weeks later when this damage was noticed. I did not take each component out and physically inspect. Looks like a manufacturing problem, it was not damaged here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dryden bath Nice that it has the shower head for easy cleaning of tub. It would be nice if they had more holes for the handheld so you had more water coming out. Otherwise simply elegant!

Q&A

What is the flow rate factor for this faucet? How many GPM?

I have a Jacuzzi 7236 Allusion Whirlpool tub which requires 62G at minimum and up to 83 gallons; so I need a tub faucet that has a high flow rate factor to reduce wait time on filling. If this one is not suitable, do you have recommendations? It needs to be a deck mount and with a relatively high arc. Thank you.
Asked by: EMom
Hi EMom, Thank you for your question. The R4707 rough in valve used with the T4751 roman tub trim has a flow rate of 18 gallons per minuter at 60 psi. The hand shower flows at 2.0 gpm. Thanks, Dave

Is the on position supposed to be 90 degrees or 180 degrees?

Asked by: karen
Hi there Karen, Thank you for your inquiry! The handle of the Delta Dryden Roman Tub T4751-PN are designed to rotate 90 degrees (1/4 turn, facing the inside of the tub) to turn the water on. See page 7 diagram 5 regarding flushing the faucet, in the below Maintenance/Installation document link. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/86644%20Rev%20C.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Will the handles from the Everly Collection fit with the Dryden faucet?

Asked by: Jodi23
Thank you for your inquiry, Jodi23! The handles on the Delta Everly Lavatory faucet 35741-RB-DST are smaller than the handles on the Delta Dryden Roman Tub Trim T4751-RB. However, the handles are interchangeable with each other, due to the same stem assembly, that they attach to. Unfortunately, we do not manufacture a Roman/Whirlpool/Garden Tub faucet or handles in the Everly collection. Best regards, Tanya

Drain Assembly

We purchased the Dryden Roman Tub w/hand shower trim and the rough-in kit. However, we can not find the drain assembly that attaches to the lift rod on this kit. Where can we find the drain items? Thanks!
Asked by: bksouthard
Hi bksouthard, Thank you for your question. The lift rod on the spout of the model T4751-RB roman tub trim controls the diverter to the hand shower. It is not part of the drain assembly. The bath waste assembly would have to be ordered as a separate item. We offer the RP693RB toe operated bath waste assembly with a 13-1/2" max vertical adjustment. Please verify if this drain assembly is tall enough for your tub. Thanks, Dave

Is it possible to add the hand shower after the fact?

We purchased the roman tub faucet collection through our builder, not realizing there was an optional hand shower. Can this be retrofitted?
Asked by: jupiter
Hi jupiter, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, models with a hand shower require a different rough-in valve than models without one. This unit uses an R4707 rough-in. Best regards, Jon

I don't need or have a spot on my bath tub for a hand shower. Can I purchase this without the hand shower?

Asked by: Bill
Hi, Bill! Thank you for your question. If the hand shower is not needed, we recommend to use T2751-PN instead. Here is a link to this roman tub trim: https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/T2751-PN Best Regards, Rosanna
