Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing good about this. We selected this tub filler for our newly constructed home 2 years ago. So far I truly have nothing good to say about it. 1. To get the water to a hot temperature, the water pressure must be at maximum (you can’t control flow and temperature separately) so there is no way to trickle the water, say, if a child is in the tub. Low flow is always cold. My plumber insisted this is a “safety measure,” and several calls to Delta seems to prove that representatives don’t even understand the issue. If it’s truly for “safety” (to prevent burns) then I don’t see how much “safer” it is to bathe a small child in cold water so that the flow is moderate. 2. If using the sprayer, again- to have a spray that is warm enough to rinse hair or body, the flow is so high that the sprayer jets across the room. 3. After using the sprayer, and shutting the water off, the attachment dribbles and leaks for several minutes. Which will drip onto the floor if the sprayer is returned to its holder. Considering the cost of this filler, I’m deeply disappointed and even more disappointed that Delta, despite its claims it has a customer satisfaction guarantee, has not offered any solutions. For now, my tub is rarely used although it looks good. Too much of a frustration.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This is great looking Unfortunately Very Messy, much too much force as it sprays so hard you cannot keep water in the tub on both faucets

Q&A

With the Ara tub filler we just purchased we are unable to get hot enough water from the faucet. Please advise.

Asked by: Dena
Hello Dena, Thank you for your question. The T4774-FL does have a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted to regulate temperature. To get to the rotational limit stop, remove the handle with a 1/8" allen wrench. You will then see the white, round limit stop around the stem of the cartridge. To adjust the temperature pull the white Rotational Limit Stop outward and rotate. Clockwise rotation will decrease the outlet temperature, counterclockwise rotation will increase the outlet temperature. Temperature change per tooth (notch) could be 4° - 16°F based on inlet water conditions. Repeat as necessary. When finished, make sure that the Rotational Limit Stop is fully retracted into the seated position. Best regards, Tanya

HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE DIVERTER FROM A T4794LF

Asked by: SAMMY
Hi Sammy, Thank you for your question! To access the diverter, unscrew the finial on the opposite side of the spout and loosen the set screw under the diverter. This will allow you to pull out the hand shower holder and diverter. Best regards, Jon

What is the estimated gallons per minute for the Zura freestanding tub filler? I see the handheld shower is 2.0 gpm. How long should it take to fill a 68 gal max fill soaking tub?

Asked by: JimmyG
Hi, JimmyG! Thank you for your question. The gallons per minute depends on the psi for your home for the Zura T4774-PNFL unit. At 80 psi, you should get 8.5 gallons per minute. Best Regards, Rosanna
