Nothing good about this.
We selected this tub filler for our newly constructed home 2 years ago. So far I truly have nothing good to say about it.
1. To get the water to a hot temperature, the water pressure must be at maximum (you can’t control flow and temperature separately) so there is no way to trickle the water, say, if a child is in the tub. Low flow is always cold. My plumber insisted this is a “safety measure,” and several calls to Delta seems to prove that representatives don’t even understand the issue. If it’s truly for “safety” (to prevent burns) then I don’t see how much “safer” it is to bathe a small child in cold water so that the flow is moderate.
2. If using the sprayer, again- to have a spray that is warm enough to rinse hair or body, the flow is so high that the sprayer jets across the room.
3. After using the sprayer, and shutting the water off, the attachment dribbles and leaks for several minutes. Which will drip onto the floor if the sprayer is returned to its holder.
Considering the cost of this filler, I’m deeply disappointed and even more disappointed that Delta, despite its claims it has a customer satisfaction guarantee, has not offered any solutions.
For now, my tub is rarely used although it looks good. Too much of a frustration.

My hot water won't work. The cold is fine.

We apologize for the issues you are experiencing! Please flush the valves to remove any debris or buildup in the lines.
1. Please place a towel around the backside of the faucet.
2. Place the bucket over the top of the towel, and have someone hold the bucket.
3. Turn on water supplies and flush the water for about 30 seconds to a minute.
4. Shut off water supplies and proceed to put the new parts in.

The water flow appears to be block at the filler. Is there a way to clean the screen for the filler?

Low flow is caused by a blockage or debris, we recommend that the unit be flushed. The stream straightener can be removed as well, but without flushing the whole system the blockage may still be there.

Can you change the sprayer to a different all metal sprayer?

How do you control the water volume. Turn the handle and only can control hot or cold but can’t change the flow

Is there a way to control the pressure of the sprayer? the water comes out so hard and fast that when the sprayer is used, my entire bathroom gets soaked. I did see a post that lowering the faucet handle helps, but then the water becomes cold

There are not adjustable settings on the hand shower included with the T4774-FL tub filler trim, unfortunately. The 59799-PK hand shower has three settings allowing you to control the spray pattern of your hand shower.
