Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very low water flow - BUYER BEWARE BUYER BEWARE. We upgraded our basic tub spout to what we thought was a beautiful and well-made upgrade. Boy were we wrong. The water flow is just awful... it's going to take forever to fill our bathtub. Our professional plumber looked for any type of workaround, but there is nothing he can do. Now seeing this is a common issue with no support from Delta either.

I have only a fraction of the pressure with this model, I timed it and only getting 3 gallons per minute? Delta sent me replacement cartridges, but that didn’t help. Now what do I do Delta?

Regarding model T5779 / wall mount roman tub faucet. I would like to install the hot and cold handles in one location and the spout in another. I would also like to use this with a hand held shower. Is there a way to make this work? Creative Plumbing!

Hi, BeBe! Thank you for your question. The Delta T5779 Wall Mount Tub Faucet would need to be installed with each handle on either side of the spout, with 8" centers. Ready to install trim. On the first step it says “replace current spout shank with short or long spout shank provided.” Is there a reason I have to replace the spout shank already installed if it’s the same length as short shank provided? There’s no info
