The black matte finish is chipping
We have had these for 2 years and I'm noticing the black finish chipping. For the price, I would expect no issues with the finish. We are cleaning with a wet rag, no chemicals.

Good Tub Filler
We installed this 2.5 years ago. We also had issues with the tub filling slowly. I took the spout off the wall and it has a nozzle inside there which has a filter/flow regulator there. Removed it and now the tub fills quickly. This is a very long spout so be aware of how far it reaches into the tub.

The RP101616 spout adapter will provide the option for standalone non-diverter tub spouts to attach to the wall mount rough model R3500-WL.
A 9 3/8" non-diverter tub spout in the Stryke collection is part number RP93377PCPR.

Does this model have a flow restrictor? I purchased this model because it supposed to get 8 gallons per minute, but the flow is it anywhere near that. Does this have some kind of adjustment to restrict or increase the flow?
I want to install wall mounted Stryke Roman Tub filler T5776-CZWL WITH a freestanding tub. I would like to also have a hand held shower. Can that be done?

How to change cartridge on the hot and cold levers
Hi Micky,
Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T5776-WL.
First, turn the handle base counterclockwise to replace an RP75838 or RP75786 cartridge. After removing the stem extender, handle flange, and mounting sleeve, unscrew the cartridge with a 19 mm hex socket wrench. See step-by-step maintenance instructions in the manual here:

How much spout overhang is recommended for an installation along the side of a free standing tub ?

We don't have a recommended position for the spout over the tub. It would be up to the preference of the installer. The spout extends 12-3/4 in. from the wall.

The R3500-WL valve rough is used by both tub fillers and sink faucets. I recommend using the spout shank included with the tub filler trim to ensure the proper flow rate from the tub filler.

Good afternoon, what is the depth of the spout from the center of R3500 to where the water comes out? I need to make sure I have 1" air gap and I don't want the valve to high so the water splash's in the tub.

I have a customer that has rocked the wall where my freestanding wall mounted tub filler is. Is there a way to extend the handles further than 3 and 3/4 we're looking at probably 5 inch Rock on top of my sheetrock

MODEL#T5776-SSWL wall mounted bathtub faucet. Issue is that it a long time to fill and by the time the tub is full the water is no longer warm. With the spout removed from the wall the pressure is good. Thoughts? What replacements can correct this issue?

In this instance we recommend increasing the temperature on your hot water heater as this is not a common issue. This model provides a flow rate of 8.0gpm at 60psi. If the pressure coming into the home is lower than this you may want to consider installing a pressure booster as well.

The handle can be tightened by turning the base clockwise. Turn the handle base counterclockwise to remove the handle and check that the screw securely holds the stem extender in place.

how do i adjust the hot water on this model

Our Delta Faucet T5776-SSWL temperature is balanced manually. When only the hot handle is open, the temperature will be the same as what is provided by the hot water supply. We recommend that the temperature of your water heater be set no higher than 120 degrees.

No, we do not have a video on how to install our T5776-WL available. The T5776-WL uses our R3500-WL rough-in valve. The front of the stringer must be 2 3/4" ± 1/2" from the finished wall. Please refer to page 4 box 2 in the link below for the instructions to install the handles and spout properly.
