Rated 2 out of 5 by from Water Flow Bought this spout specifically because it was Delta, a known brand. Installation went well. Was disappointed to find the water sprays out the end of spout in all directions, I expected a much more controlled flow. This is the first spout I've ever seen that does this. Attached picture tries to capture the spraying but it needs to be seen in person. It was so unexpected that I removed the spout to look for obstructions or to determine if I did something wrong installing it. Nothing was wrong, it is simply due to the spout design. If this ever needs replacing in the future I'll be trying one of the off brands instead.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute Trash Why would you make a beautiful metal fixture like this but make the part that has to be the most durable out of thin plastic? I'm now sending back my second unit to Amazon after installing and having the plastic female plumbing inside split in half when threading onto the bathroom plumbing. The piece that breaks inside is only about 1/16" thick where from the threads inside to the outside of the pipe. This part should be METAL. It's like it's DESIGNED to break. It easily splits when threading onto the correct size pipe. The second one I made sure I only had one layer of ePTFE tape thinking the thickness of the tape was causing it to break. I actually had 1 of these that worked for years until the diverter spout broke - but now 2 replacements haven't made it through an install. So disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic Adapter Breaks I bought this less than a year ago and the internal plastic adapter broke in half right in the middle of the hexagon portion

Q&A

can you connect two shower heads to this spout?

wondering if this spout can be used with a standard behind the wall shower head and then also with a temporary hand-held shower head, e.g. for washing dogs. shower heads would not need to work at the same time. thanks!
Asked by: mcodo
Hi Mcodo, Thank you for your question. The model U1072-PK is made to be used only with a hand shower, not a fixed showerhead. It is not recommended to attach 2 showerheads to the spout. Thanks, Dave

what shower heads go with this?

specifically, I'm looking for a hand held shower( that can be attached to this diverter tub spout# that has a button or level by which one can turn the water flow on and off #while one washes hair, etc.) Do you have such a product?
Asked by: gail
Thank you for your question. While all of our handshowers will work with Delta Faucet model # U1072-PK, we do not manufacture any that will completely turn on and off. We do manufacture several models that have pause features but they slow down to a trickle and do not completely turn off.

Can I replace a delta Lockwood tub spout RP42576 with this U107PK

I am trying to add a handle held shower to an older tub that had no shower. The Lockwood is what is on the tub now, even though there is no shower so the current diverter is useless. Can I easily replace the Lockwood spout RP42576 with this U1072PK? Is it just a matter of unscrewing what's there and then screwing this one on? Or would I have to call a plumber to sweat pipe?
Asked by: Kim
Hi Kim, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately these 2 spouts use different mounting types and the pipe would need to be modified. Please refer to the email I've sent you for more information. Best Regards, Daniel
