Not Providing Enough Pressure to Shower Head
I changed out my old American Standard spout with this exact model and it does not provide enough water pressure to the shower head. Now I have to go back to the old one to get it to work. Even the water coming out of the spout is weak and not free flowing.

It was defective. My handyman, a retired builder, showed me that while screwing the screw into its place, it wiggled and would go no further.

Not Universal
Read the instructions on installing this onto a 1/2" slip-fit copper pipe. Really? Cut the piece so that it fits? I just threw this in the trash so noone else has to try to work with this and went to Home Depot for a fixture that I know works.

Is there a tub spout diverter that will fit into a 2 1/2 inch length pipe and is threaded at the end.
My present 30 yr old delta polished brass spout is pitted and will only partially divert. The present tub spout I have is threaded at the rear also if that makes a difference.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a spout that is designed to fit on a 2 1/2" pipe. This spout can thread to a 1/2" threaded pipe that is 1/2" to 11/16" or 2 15/16". Tub spouts that use the RP12307 adapter work with a 5/8" – 1 5/8” pipe.

What size allen wrench does the set screw require?

I am trying to replace a chrome tub diverter that screws on to a 1/2" threaded pipe that extends 3 1/2" from the wall. Do you make anything with that description?

I need a spout that will screw on to a 3/4" diameter stub that extends 3/4" from the wall. Will spout u1075-pk screw on flush to the wall?
Most spouts seem made only to handle a stub that extends 1/2" from the wall, so I'm having trouble finding one that will screw on without leaving a 1/4" gap. Thanks for any help.
I might also be interested in spout u1011-pk, so I would have the same question about that one.
Hi Searcher, Thank you for your question. The distance that the pipe nipple extends from the finished wall for the U1075-PK and the U1011-PK tub spouts is a minimum of 1/2" and a maximum of 3/4". They should work with your distance.

Does this spout require caulking around its base?

Thank you for your question. You may use caulk around the base of the tub spout to ensure a water tight seal, especially if you have an uneven wall surface, but it is not required.
