Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Providing Enough Pressure to Shower Head I changed out my old American Standard spout with this exact model and it does not provide enough water pressure to the shower head. Now I have to go back to the old one to get it to work. Even the water coming out of the spout is weak and not free flowing.

Q&A

Is this the equivalent to the model BCP 197C available at Lowe’s?

Asked by: Rick
Thank you for your inquiry, Rick! The Delta Tub spout U1075-PK threads onto a 1/2" threaded pipe that is 1/2" to 11/16" or 2 15/16". The distance that the pipe nipple extends from the finished wall is a minimum of 1/2" and a maximum of 3/4". We are unfamiliar with a BCP 197C model. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/U1010L%20Rev%20C.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Trying to find a spout

the copper pipe is 4.5" from the wall. Do you make a diverter spout to fit this? Thanks Peter
Asked by: huntington
Hi Huntington, Thank you for your question. The RP48718 tub spout will slip onto a 2 ¾ - 4 ¼” copper pipe. Our other slip-on tub spouts require a shorter pipe length. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/rp48718.html Thanks, Jon

I purchased two of the U1075-PB-PK Diverter tub spouts. When installing the first one, I followed your directions that said to cut the 3/4 inch adapter pipe. It came up short, so I had to use the other one which worked fine not being cut. Pleasehelp.

The stub out with a 1/2" MIP (D) indicates overall stub length of 2 15/16". However, measuring within spout seems should be more like 3 15/16". Are instructions wrong?

I am a DIY weekend warrior, What do the acronyms CWT, and IPS mean? While we are at if what is a slip fit? I have the old broken spout, and can look at the fitting, but your pictures do not show that view.

Asked by: DIYWeekendWarrior
Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for your question! We apologize that the information you are searching for was not readily available. We realize that can be very frustrating and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. The Delta Faucet part U1075-PK Diverter Tub Spout In Chrome can slip onto a 1/2 copper water tube (CWT) or threaded onto either a 1/2" or 3/4" iron pipe size - standard pipe threads (IPS). A slip-on installation requires the Delta Faucet part RP33794 Adapter - Tub Spout - Slip-On Diverter to be slipped over a copper tube and tightened into place with the included set screw. Once tightened the spout can be attached. Please contact us back directly via email with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler

The specs/diagrams don't show the diverter valve in the tub spout. What kind of valve is it, what are the materials of the valve/gasket, and what is the expected lifetime of the gasket material? Is there a parts list to order these?

Asked by: Dave
Hello Dave! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help! The diverter valve for the U1075-PK is not a part of the tub spout itself. It is ordered separately and you can use a few different rough valves for this tub spout. We have a lifetime limited warranty on our parts to the original owner so long as proper maintenance and cleaning and care is used with our products. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Best Regards, Carrie

i just put in a U1075 spout and it leaks out of the spout when i pull the lever to run the shower how can i stop that leak?

Asked by: john
Hi john, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about U1075-PK! The rubber gasket within the valve does not create a perfect seal and it is normal to see a small drip from the tub spout while the shower is running. However, gaskets do require maintenance as they age. If you begin to notice a larger stream of water, it's possible that the tub spout needs to be cleared of any debris that may have accumulated around the gasket. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Best Regards, Nicole Digital Communications Specialist

Per the instructions, installation method #4 states dimension "A" (length of pipe with threaded end) = 2 15/16. This is obviously too short. I have read Q&As from others which states this length should be 3 7/8" to 4". What is the proper length?
