Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was Great My friend is a master plumber and he always said I dont care what kind you buy as long as its Delta. I purchase 2 of these of these when we moved into my house and an Intuition also. 1 of the 3 way diverters has cracked. Like many others have posted on here. All I have in my house is delta products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta perfection As usual, Delta quality, very easy to use, although I am disappointed that the lever is plastic.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Plastic inside? Built a new home a few years ago and purchased shower diverter thru the plumbing store because I was told they were better quality, not plastic, like you get at big box stores. Spent the extra money, only to have water shooting out of the diverter switch. Took it apart and found the housing around the switch is plastic and broken, really? This is in an extra bathroom and the shower isn't even used on a daily basis.

Q&A

Hello, I purchased T14259-LHD, R10000-UNBX, 55085 and 50560. I am feeling a little nervous purchasing this diverter after reading some reviews and am wondering if I could just purchase T11859 to divert the water? Thank you...

Asked by: Belle28
Thank you for your question, Belle28! The T11859 Trinsic trim is the trim piece only and will require the R11000 diverting valve to connect to the R100000-UNBX in order to proceed using a wall elbow. You may also be interested in our integrated diverter trims which include both trims and valves. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R11000 https://www.deltafaucet.com/search-results?searchTerm=integrated&searchType=Delta_Default#resultPage=0&offset=1666.666748046875 Best regards, Edward

I just purchased the Matte Black 3-Spray Handheld Shower Item #: 919117| Model #: 55799-BL and need a diverted but I’m not finding one in the matte black finish.  Why have the shower head, arm, faucet and held handheld in this finish but not the diverter?

Asked by: CeeceeBee
Hi, CeeceeBee! Thank you for your question. At this time, we do not make a 3-Way Diverter in the Matte Black finish. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Best Regards, Rosanna

One last question. My tile guy has already installed R10000-UNBX and placed the cement, can I still connect the R11000? If not, what is the best thing to do with these parts: T14259-LHD, R10000-UNBX, 55085 and 50560.

Asked by: Belle28
Hi, Belle28! Thank you for your question. The Delta R11000 Diverter Rough In will need to be installed within the wall. We recommend using the Delta U4929-RB-PK 3 Way Diveter with the Monitor T14259-LHD, MultiChoice Universal R10000-UNBX Rough In Valve Body, 55085 and 50560. Best Regards, Rosanna

Can the directional arm for a U4929-RB-PK be changed? If so, what is the part number and how do you order?

Asked by: Herbert Critcher
Hello Herbert Critcher, Thank you for your question. All components on the U4929-RB-PK except for the diverter switch are stationary and none can be changed. Best Regards, Courtney

Will this diverter work properly if attached with the water flow into the male connection and out the female connection? If not, do you make a diverter with male connections for both input and output connections such as Kohler's K-76331?

Asked by: Joe C
Hi, Joe C! Thank you for your question. All three connections Delta U4929-RB-PK Diverter Assembly have standard 1/2"-14 NPSM threads. Here is a link to the technical specifications sheet for the diverter: https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-B-U4920-PK%20Rev%20E.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

Which diverter valve is better?

Is this diverter valve better to use than the U4923-PK? I want to run my showerhead and my hand shower simultaneously.
Asked by: CJ
Hi CJ, Thank you for your interest in Delta Faucet Company products. All Delta products are made to the highest quality standards so there is not one that is better than another. The difference between these two diverters is simply how they operate. Once having a push button and one having a lever.

Specifications for Diverter Valve 4929PK

I recently bought this product and two pieces of information were not available: - All brass construction. Does this apply to the entire product or just the valve. The handle that switches the flow appears to be chrome-covered plastic. What is the base/structural material of the handle? Is it covered under the lifetime warranty? Is it replaceable by the consumer or must the entire valve be replaced? - The shower output and handheld output (in my use) both appear to have flow limiting orifices. The handheld output flow limiter appears to be removable by plumbers hex wrench. The shower limiter does not appear removable other than by drilling through brass. What is the GPM output for both shower and handheld? Are my assumptions regarding remove-ability correct? Would a careful drilling of the shower output to approximately the size of the input likely cause valve failure? Would it void the warranty?
Asked by: Mark
Thank you for your questions. Delta Faucet model # 4929PK is a brass constructed model. However, the handle is a non-metallic composite. There is a lifetime warranty to the original owner. The gpm on the devices that you are running through the diverter differ depending on the device. You will need to check with the specs for the device. We do not recommend drilling of any kind on our valves and it does void the warranty if drilling occurs.
