Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leaky Once installed by our plumber this elbow piece/shower arm was leaking down the shower hose. Plumber indicated the leak was caused by an extremely thin washer that came with the pieces. He was able to correct the leak by using a thicker washer from his own tools.

What it the height of this shower arm.

I'm trying to figure out how this will affect the height of the shower head. How far does this arm drop from the wall to the end on the arm.

Hi Mark V, Thank you for your question. The U4993-CZ shower arm measure 6" total from the wall to the end where the shower head threads on. From the bend of the shower arm to the end where the shower head threads is about 2". Best regards, Brandis

I am confused, the pipe thread is listed as 1/2" IPS but 1/2" NPT in tech specs, which is it? I am not familiar with IPS.

Longer arm?

I purchased this arm to use with the In2ition® Two-In-One Shower Arm Mounted Shower (58471-RB-PK). But the water hits the back of the shower. We have adjusted the shower head as far as down as the hose will allow since it is touching the wall. Is there a longer arm that would be compatible with the shower head?

What product number would be for the combo mount and hose connector for a handheld shower head, that connects directly to this elbow? As shown in the product pictures. This would be for a handheld shower head that can act like a fixed shower head.

I need to find matching shower arm, flange, and valve trim for Universal Showering In2ition model # 58471-PK. I am looking at the Tesla T14052 Valve only trim, but also need a 6" shower arm to match. Is there an extended flange for the Lahara shower head?

Thank you for your question, Booey! We do not make a longer flange, than the one included with model U4993-CZ. However, we do have longer shower arms that would fit this flange. The Delta RP40593CZ shower arm is 7" in length, which is 1 1/2" longer than the U4993-CZ shower arm. I need a shower neck that doesn't leach nickel into the water since I am allergic to it. Usually I will try and find your diamond technology coating, but cannot find a version with that technology in your shower necks. Do you know if this is nickel free?
