I have a MASCO M30 Single Handle Cartridge used on a Delta Tub/Shower Faucet. The cartridge leaks and need to be replaced. Would this part work as a replacement?

I had faucet professionally installed but found that hot was coming through regardless of single handle position. Can only get cold if I turn hot supply off. Can I assume this would mean the cartridge was allowing the flow though and needs replacement?

After removing the finial and set screw, I still can’t get the handle to lift off of my 555LF Dash RB. Is there a trick to this?

I just installed a brand-new Cassidy bath faucet. The cold works fine but the hot only gets slightly warm in any single handle position. I can only get hot if I turn the cold supply off. This is the only one of six faucets that does this. Cartridge issue?

Hi Rayza, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP50265 Valve Cartridge. I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help! The issue is likely caused by water debris trapped in the supply line or faucet. To flush the faucet, Turn off the water supply to both hot and cold and remove all internal components in the handle. Turn the hot supply back on and let run for 30-60 seconds, using a bucket or large container to deflect the water into the sink. Turn water supplies off again and reassemble the faucet. How is the cartridge replaced on 553LF-SS?

Hello Eddie! Thank you for contacting us at Delta Faucet! I will be happy to help! First, you will want to turn the water off under the sink at the shut-off valves. Next, remove the handle's set screw with a 1/8" Allen wrench. With that handle now removed you will unthread the cap and bonnet securing the cartridge into the valve. Pull the cartridge assembly out and install the new cartridge assembly. Tight the bonnet and cap back on as well as the handle and set screw. Can a RP50587 cartridge replace a RP50265 in a Dryden Model 551 Series bathroom faucet?

My faucet has low water flow for the cold water. Flow for the hot is at least double the volume. Will this cartridge fix that? Our well occasionally has cloudy, dirty looking water. Spending lots of $$ right now trying to remedy that issue also.

Do I need a special tool to remove the old cartridge and install the new cartridge?
