[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few other reviews of my Delta fixtures in my Master Bath and this was the perfect complement to our rain head and hand shower. Not only did it only cost a little extra to add, but it changes the dynamics and curb appeal of our shower for resale purposes. With a rain head, its a nice shower. With the jets, it's now a spa. We are runners and athletes and we love the spray from these nozzles. Not too hard, not too soft and not a single laser coming out of the wall to one area. Helps soothe and relax which was our primary purpose and we are enjoying them.

Dependable products
Always recommend Delta to all customers that ask, otherwise included in job cost. Have never had complaints of product functioning properly. Any concerns can be resolved with Delta's customer service, installation, missing parts (sent overnight) or warranty (sent overnight). Pricing is best bang for your buck!!! Others are similar in design, but price, service and ease of installation are not even close.

4 body sprays
Installed 4 delta body sprays plus rain head, shower head and hand held with multi combo valve. Body sprays seem made solid but much to fine of a mist to actually feel spray or quickly rinse off soap. Tried to remove any restrictive but still light mist. Would prefer body spray with more power stimulating spray. Love rain head an shower head pressure but I guess to late to change the four body units. Excellent if u only want a mist like spray

Only pivots up and down
Checked with Delta and this unit will only pivot up and down, not 360 degree rotation. It will move up to 30 degrees up or down, but only vertically. If you need a body spray that swivels 360 degrees, try Delta 50100 or Moen.

Heavyweight fixture. Feels solid, looks great, and instals easily. Would definitely buy it again.
It is a good "oil rubbed bronze" color, too. It's not the lighter version that looks more copper.

Nice touch for an upscale shower
One of my favorite things in my new house- a raincan shower head and 2 body sprays, all by Delta. If I'd known how useful the body sprays would be, I would have installed a couple more. It's just nice to be drenched from all directions. They look great and work very well. These sprays have swiveling heads and a wide spray pattern. Very relaxing. Easy-clean, too.

is this surface mounted body spray 1/2" female ips?
Thank you for your question, joe f! That is correct, meaning this installation requires a 1/2” male threaded pipe fitting to extend 1/4” beyond the finished surface. You will need to install a properly anchored 1/2” female pipe fitting (i.e. a drop-ear ell) recessed into the wall, into which a brass pipe nipple of proper length can be fitted once the finished wall is complete.

For a body spray Model:50102 what is the Body Spray Rough Model number that goes with it. I have Model:R50001 rough but It doesn't match. I purchased it at Lowes, they said call Delta. I have been on hold for 30 minutes, thought this might be faster....

Thank you for your inquiry. The Delta Surface Mount Body Spray 50102 installation requires a 1/2” male threaded pipe fitting to extend 1/4” beyond the finished surface. There is no rough-in needed for this body spray. Please see the below Maintenance/Installation document link.

What other components need to be purchased to install this unit new?
Hi Loriboy, Thank you for your question. The 50102-RB body spray will need a faucet rough R10000, any of our faucet trims, the R11000 diverter rough, and a matching diverter trim that will control the showerhead and body sprays to make a complete faucet.

the body spray model 50102/SS how do you turn it on and off?

Thank you for your question. To turn this body spray on and off a diverter will need to be installed to divert the water from the main valve to the sprayer.

how far back does the the 1/2 rough in half to be from finish wall
Hi lutz, Thank you for your question. The rough in for the 50102-RB body spray is shown on the spec sheet at 1-1/2". The 1/2" pipe nipple needs to extend out 1/4" from the finished wall. I have attached links to the owners manual and the spec sheet below.
