We moved into our remodeld home lat August, so we have have been using these faucets for less than one year, and this week one of them began leaking from beneath the on/off handle. I will of course be contacting Delta, but these have been a horrible purchase.

Very, very disappointed in these faucets. Delta replaced two of the three we ordered ue to leaking supply lines. Now, 2-3 months of use and the plastic seal under the stopper on one has cracked.

Update to my Sept 2024 review
We had frustrating leaks under two sinks, turns out supply lines to both faucets were leaking. Perhaps a bad run at the factory. Thankfully, Delta replaced both and problem seems solved. 1/4 inch supply lines also create low water pressure.

Several issues but not giving up yet
Two vanity drains have leaked at the P trap ever since install 5 weeks ago. Plumber tried everything and finally got one to stop, but then the hot water supply line began leaking. Delta sent a new faucet. Other drain still leaks. Working on both today.

It’s a faucet
Pleasantly surprised at how much I like the faucet. I thought I would need a 1.5 GPM aerator since my previous faucet had one, but this 1.2 aerator is more than enough pressure/flow. Easy for plumber to install (only took a few minutes). Recommend for someone who wants simple and basic and less expensive. And

Perfect flow
I bought this Delta faucet about a 5 weeks and it's great. The high end look for a bargain price. This faucet was easy to install in less than an hour start to finish. It has a single handle design, allowing for temperature and flow. I will be purchasing another for my guest bath.

No, our 573-SS-PR-MPU-DST has a maximum flow rate of 1.2 GPM. This model also has the 3/8" inch PEX tubing that is part of the faucet. Please note that any modifications to our products will result in a void of any warranties available.

What is MPU vs LPU in the product code number? Is the Galeon fixture line made of zinc or brass?

Put in two faucets - one is perfect and the other has the flow of water coming out at a 10 degree angle ?? How do I get to and clean out the air rators?

If I turn the faucet clockwise, should the water be hot or cold? Trying to figure out if water lines were attached correctly.

If you turn the handle counterclockwise it should be providing hot water, and clockwise for cold water.

For the Galeon single handle bathroom faucet, can you explain how temperature control and flow control is handled? What is the GPM rate? Does the Galeon line offer a separate hand held shower assembly or only the overhead shower faucet? Thank you

The flow rate is controlled by pressing the handle away from you and temperature is achieved by turning it left or right. This model provides a flow rate of 1.2gpm at 60psi. We do not currently offer any showering component besides the showerhead at this time.

Is the faucet closed -- the photo makes it look like the top part of the spout where the water comes out of is open, giving a waterfall effect. Is that the case? Or is it a normal spout system?
