Does this have a backflow prevention?
Thank you for your question, Terrence! Delta Faucet Company hand showers are certified as being compliant to the national consensus standard ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 for Plumbing Supply Fittings. The backflow protection provided in these hand showers is by means of two check valves which individually meet the requirements.

We just had this Shower Head installed and have noticed that the shower spray is not forceful at all. In fact the spray is so minimal that it takes 30 minutes to get the soap suds off my body after lathering up. This is unacceptable for the price paid.

What is the diameter of the face of this shower head, and the depth? Also, is there some kind of black trim on the back of the shower head? It looks like a black shiny rim on the top of the shower head in the photos.

The diameter of the face of the hand shower is 3.35. The depth of this is 2 inches. The finish is shiny chrome. There is no black it is just the way the light reflected off the hand shower.

54434-18-PK does include the hose and a shower arm mount.

What is the difference between these numbers for a Delta Shower Head: 59434-18-PK & 59434-SS18-PK ?? I have the 59434-SS18-PK and can't find any information online about it. However, there is information about the DEL 59434-18-PK. Q:The same?
