What size Allen wrench for model #144910 set screw in handle and what direction to turn wrench to remove handle?
Need to remove handle to install trim plate now that tile is finally installed. Plumber put handle on by mistake and took Allen wrench with him.

Thank you for your question. The RP48717 handle assembly kit comes with the Delta Classic 144910 model and it uses the RP26865 set screw, which takes a 3/32" Allen wrench (RP26853).

Thank you for your question. The set screws for the RP47418 handle set are not a replaceable part on it's own.The set screw thread size for the RP47418 handles is #10-32 UNF.

Would this work for the shower handle on 144770-SP?
Thank you for your question, Gjones! The RP26865 set screw is not recommended for the handle found on the Portwood. It does use a 3/32" screw size however the accurate thread size needed would be 10-32 x.25 cup point. The RP16497 set screw will fit this handle.
