Rated 1 out of 5 by from All plastic and too scary to install Very disappointed. I bought this to replace an old tub spout that had internal rusting. I have always had good luck with Delta products. I ignored the one star reviews that had issues with the internal plastic piece cracking, leaking and causing water damage. I recieved this today and immediately sent it back. The shell is also plastic and could easily be broken if someone bumped it hard with their leg. It is very nice looking and has a very nice machined brass adapter, other than the diverter knob and rod the rest is plastic. Too scary to install so I sent it back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 99 cent o-ring fails on a $100 faucet Finish held up but the o-rings in the faucet failed causing water to spray behind the wall, down into the basement. There doesn't appear to be a way to replace the 99 cent o-ring. Now I have to buy a $100 replacement. This was installed several years ago by my plumber so of course I do not have the receipts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service and product My tub spout was purchased 5 years ago. It was stripped when removing it for a remodel. Delta customer service replaced it free of charge. I am a Delta customer for life!! Great customer service. It is a quality piece. Very heavy and works well. We have had no issues with the entire tub/shower set.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just needed the guts. Bought this for the plastic innards. Brushed nickel is discontinued so I was able to get the guts of this out and into the existing one. I think it ought to be sold as such, being plastic and prone to failure so easily.

Asked by: Jesse
Hi, Jesse! Thank you for your question. The O-ring for the Delta RP12307 Adapter Assembly is RP1745. Here is a link to this part: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP1745 Best Regards, Rosanna

Is there a similar spout that is metal and not plastic. I need the rubbed oil bronze color.

Asked by: Peggy
Hi, Peggy. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have similar Traditional-Style tub spout assemblies in the Oil Rubbed Bronze finish that are metallic. We do have the RP81273OB, RP61357OB, and RP64721OB tub spouts that are Oil Rubbed Bronze. Best Regards, Rosanna

I broke the plastic part that holds the chromed end onto my RP34357 (too aggressive w/ cleaning). Now the diverter doesn't close completely and sprays when diverted for shower use.  Can I replace just the plastic connection parts? Have photo if needed.

Asked by: BenW
Thank you for your question, BenW! The diverter is not a separate repair part unfortunately and new tub spout will be needed. Best regards, Edward

My shower/bath diverter has become ineffective. RP34357

can I just install a spout with the pull up diverter by screwing off the old broken spout and screwing the new one onto the existing threaded copper pipe. Or is some actual plumbing skill needed. When the diverter is pulled up, only about 25% of the flow is diverted to the shower.
Asked by: Bruce
Hi Bruce, Thank you for your question. The RP34357 tub spout threads directly onto a 1/2" threaded pipe or fitting at the back of the spout. You should be able to unscrew the spout and replace. Thanks, Dave

Can I get installation instructions for this tub spout, please

I have this spout, and during a remodel the outer (chrome) part of the spout was taken off, leaving the plastic inner spout connected, coming through the tub wall. Now, I cannot figure how to reconnect the outer spout. I lost the installation instructions during the remodel, can you provide them?
Asked by: Rod
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP34357 can either be sweat onto a copper pipe or threaded onto an iron pipe. Included here is a link to the instructions for installing your tub spout. The instructions are on page 12 of the booklet. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/t17455.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper

Does this spout have a flow restrictor in it? Customer is complaining about flow rate at tub spout is slow

Asked by: Billy
Dear Billy, Thank you for your question. At 60 PSI, the RP34357 Victorian tub faucet will run at 5.6 gallons per minute. This spout does not have a flow restrictor in it. We would advised flushing the unit, if your getting a low or slow flow. Best regards, Tanya

will go onto a 1" connector..the previous one was 1" and was connected behind the wall so in order to change it to the universal size I would need to take the wall out which I don't want to do so I need a tub spout that connects to 1" connector..thanks

Asked by: casey
Hi, Casey! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not make 1" tub spout connections. All of our tub spouts are 1/2". I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Best Regards, Rosanna
