Q&A

I have a delta pull down kitchen faucet 978-ss Leland that I ordered & received part RF46751ss, but no instructions how to replace. Do y have a iTube?

Asked by: Bob rva
Hello Bob rva, Thank you for your question. The Delta RP46751SS sprayer assembly simply twists/screws onto the hose assembly, once the old one has been removed/unscrewed. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social if there is anything else you need. I think this is the model in my kitchen. Do you activate the sprayer by twisting the end of the sprayer assembly (no rocker switch, in other words)?

Asked by: beandean
Hi, Beandean! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP46751SS sprayer assembly simply twists at the wand base to change from stream to spray. Best Regards, Rosanna

I need a new screen for this delta spray assembly RP46751

Asked by: Mark
Hi Mark, Thank you for your question. The aerator for the RP45751SS is not available as a separate item. The entire spray assembly would have to be ordered. If you feel mineral build up is the problem you can soak the assembly in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to clean the aerator. Thanks, Dave

Can this part be disassembled in order to determine if low flow is caused by debris trapped inside?

Asked by: Matt
Hi Matt, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend disassembling the RP46751SS wand. To clean the wand assembly we recommend soaking the wand in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to help break up any mineral deposits. Make sure you rinse the wand when done. Thanks, Dave

I have the Leland faucet with this pull down twist sprayer shown. It seemed gunked up with mineral deposits. Can it be opened to be cleaned instead of buying a replacement

Can I order just the aerator for this faucet?

Asked by: pmiller189
Hello pmiller189, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! Our Delta Faucet Spray Assembly - Pull-Down Kitchen In Chrome MODEL#: RP46751 does not have a separate aerator, If you are having and flow issues we would recommend soaking the wand in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. Also, flushing the unit can help dislodge any debris or blockage. Please see the flushing steps below. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need a 1/8” Allen wrench, needle nose pliers, a quarter, towel, and bucket. 1. We are going to flush the diverter first; to do this we will need to remove the spout. Please unthread the spout bonnet counterclockwise and pull the spout straight up to remove it. Inside you will see a black plastic piece. This is your diverter. 2. Please place your quarter in the slots on the diverter and take your needle nose pliers to twist it out counterclockwise. 3. Please remove your handle with the 1/8" Allen wrench. 4. Please pull the handle off of the cap. You may remove the cap and the spout at the time. 5. Please pull the handle off of the cap. You may remove the cap and the spout at the time. 6. You will now see the Cam & Packing and stem to the ball assemble. Please remove these. 7. If you look into the valve, you should see a seat and spring. Please pull these pieces out before we flush. 8. Place the bucket behind the spout and around one of the handles. Please turn both water supplies on. Please flush this out for about 30 seconds to a minute. 9. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side, and now flush this side out as well. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole
