Is there a taller lift rod than this? We have ours connected in the lowest possible position, but the metal union bumps the bottom of the sink basin and prevents smooth operation.

I need a new diverter lift rod for our older delta Victorian bathroom faucet.   The existing rod is 136mm in total length.   Both ends are 4mm diameter and threaded (not sure of thread count).   The RP49146RB seems to be the replacement part.  Confirm?
