3538 SSMPU DST (bathroom 2 handle faucet) Leaking at Cold Handle side on to counter. -Replacing the cartridges reveals the hidden aerator or base to the cartridge is affixed.  Should it be replaced also and if so how is it removed?

Is there a difference in the hot water cartage and the cold water cartage for model RP60400? I have a cartage now that would fit the hot water side of a Lahara faucet but I need cartage to fit the cold water side

I have a Dryden series two handle widespread bathroom faucet and the hot water tap is dripping. What part do I need to replace /repair it and is it the same part for the cold water tap?

The Dryden collection includes the widespread faucet models 3551LF and 3551-MPU-DST. For both models, the valve assembly or stem is the same in both handles. For model 3551-MPU-DST, recommended maintenance is to replace the RP60400 valve assembly. For model 3551LF, recommended maintenance is to replace the RP4993 seats and springs. Are there a hot and cold specific valves? I'm having to turn both counter clockwise since I replaced the cold side.

I recently replaced both cartridges. The left/hot side was fine. On the right/cold side no matter which was I place the cartridge the handle points in the wrong direction.

I have what looks like a 2555-RBMPU-DST that is leaking (ok, it is basically more than leaking). I read that there were two types of valves for the design; before 2010 and after 2010 - and that I had to make sure I got the right valves for the right year

Hello drbohner, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The Delta Faucet 2555-RBMPU-DST does use the RP60400 diamond seal cartridge. A non-DST faucet would not use this cartridge. I have a D2564 bathroom faucet thats leaking thru the stem. One not your people connected me to a RP60400 replacement cartridge but the cartridge seems too big in diameter to slide into the space left by the original cartridge I can send pictures of both.

Model 3559-MPU-DST faucets. I've developed three small leaks and a larger leak. I will be ordering several RP60400 valve assemblies for the repairs. Is there a spring and rubber seal under the RP60400 assembly that I also need to replace?

I was sent the seals and springs to replace on my leaky faucet.  When I removed the cartridge (Diamond Valve 2H model RP 60400)there is another gray piece that I cannot remove.  Are the seals and springs under the gray piece?  If so, how is it removed?

The gray piece under the stem unit, RP60400, is part of the valve and cannot be removed. does the lower white piece come off and rotate for the right side orientation? plumber installed the Lahara unit and removeable plastic stop sits backwards for relief opening to face outwards for handle engagement. flat part of the stem facing wrong way

The white part on the RP60400 stem for the hot water should "point" to the bottom right, and the cold water should "point" to the top right. Is there a video that can be shared as to how to replace these cartridges?

Hi Lynda, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP60400. We don't currently have a video of replacing this part. You remove the Delta RP60400 by removing the handle, unscrewing the bonnet nut, then the stem unit simply lifts straight out. Replacement DST valves are shipped in the HOT orientation. For COLD valve operation, lift the stop, rotate it 90 degrees clockwise, and push it back down into position. Install valve with arrow toward the spout.
