RP61271SS. I don't think that this part is broken. I think it is the part that connects with this one. (That the screw goes into).
Could I buy only that part?

How much volume control should be available? Purchased a Linden 17 Series # T17093 and volume doe not change much. Is there a way to adjust it? Handle only moves from about 5 o'clock position to 2 o'clock.
