This model can be used as a an overhead ceiling mount, however please know this shower head is a Water-Efficient and WaterSense Labeled product that only produces 1.50 gpm @ 80 psi, 5.7 L/min @ 550 kPa. We do not offer an extender however our shower arms have a standard 1/2" thread and you may want to check with your local plumbing supplier for additional options. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean microfiber cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a damp microfiber cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water.
