Excellent service and instructions
The customer service took three minutes to identify my problem, and suggest a replacement part to my 100% satisfaction. The part was supplied under warranty at no cost to me. I also got video instructions to replace the part. Excellent service by a rep. named Trinity.
The product works as intended. Cannot ask for more for a faucet which I purchased some 10 years ago.

What is the allen key number?
Nowhere can I find what key to use to remove the set screw to this handle. Customer service told me it's a 1/8 but it doesn't fit. Something as simple as this has become an impossible task. Is it metric or Torx perhaps. I can't see the head part inside even with a flashlight. Top secret, is it?

i just installed a deluxe 19912z-dst matte black. do you have a handle shorter than the one supplied? for hot water the top of the handle hits a little overhang on the back splash
Thank you for your question, keith! Model 19912Z-DST has a recommended min. 2 1/2" (64 mm) clearance to the back splash to help avoid this. All other models will need this same clearance unfortunately.

Which key fits to remove the set screw in the handle assembly? I have asked for the last 3 days, no brochure or manual has it. And the recommended 1/8 allen does not fit.

The Delta Faucet part number RP70712SS handle kit uses a set screw that can be loosened with a 3/32" hex wrench.
