Diverter does not work and Delta knows it
The diverter of the tub spout does not work. When you pull up the pin, some water comes out of the shower head, but water also continues to come out of the tub spout. I was sent a replacement that had the exact same problem. You'll find other reviews showing this problem, and that Delta knows about it. Delta refuses to send me a functional tub spout, or even refund me.

Failed diverter gate
Love the look of the item. After only 2 years of service the diverter no longer works. Have not been able to fine if its repairepaitable like moen. Cant seem to find parts break downs. Crazy stuff used to last tons of years.

Failed diverter
I have the Trinsic line in black. It looks great. The tub faucet totally failed after less than 1.5 years and showed signs of failure in less than a year after installation. I'm really disappointed because other component in the line seem to be holding up so far.

Tub spout fails quickly
As others have reported, the seal or mechanism fails, and the tub spout leaks heavily and does not divert properly.

Looks great... works not so great
I'm writing this on behalf of my girlfriend who actually owns the Delta tub & shower unit, but I'm the one who removed the tub spout from the wall to find out why it suddenly stopped diverting. I actually sold Delta hardware years ago, so I told her I'd take a look for her. It turns out that the sealing gasket for the diverter gate was shot, only two years after installation. Although it's been a lot of years since selling Delta fixtures, Ii absolutely remember the quality of the builds being much better back then, with parts rarely wearing out under anything but extreme usage. As a previous reviewer mentioned, "Delta, do better".

Great Tub Spout
