Why is there blue and red indicators on this trim? The water is already mixed before it ever gets there.

Hi, Emory! Thank you for your question. There is a misprint on our description and photo for the Delta T11876-SS diverter trim. The handle will not come have the blue and red temperature indicator. Our rough-in hole for the diverter valve was cut too large and the included faceplate with this Three-function Diverter (color: CZ) is too small to cover all of the hole. Does Delta make larger faceplates whether in Stryke or another series?

I'm installing a clawfoot tub that will also have a shower head. I want Model #T57766-R8WL for the wall-mounted filler for the tub. I'm assuming I also need a diverter to mount up further on the wall to divert to the shower? Which one would be best ?

Hello Brian, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T11876-RB STRYKE® Three Function Diverter Trim. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. We are happy to help! The Delta Faucet model T57766-RBWL STRYKE® Wall Mounted Tub Filler would be installed with the R3500-WL valve rough-in. This valve will send the water out of the tub spout after mixing. It is not designed with a diverter or to install a diverter.
